La Scolca , 2008 Rosa Chiara Italy, $14
Wildman imports this dandy, which should assure consumers. It's a pretty, dry pink wine from the Piedmont, mostly made from the Cortese grape. It's got intense strawberry, raspberry and cherry with a bittersweet thing on the palate, which makes it most agreeable with a number of foods -- everything from pork to chicken to seafood. And with Thanksgiving on the horizon, a perfect wine for that particular fowl, too.
