Bertuzzi and Holmstrom
Bert has missed a number of scoring chances but at least he's still getting some chances. That being said he will (or should) be moved off the top two lines once Fils and Franz comes back. Bert will be much more effective on the 3rd line when he's going against weaker players.
Homer....when was the last time he's scored a goal. He went into a playoff slump last year but everyone said he was injured. Well he's not injured now. Maybe it's time that he moved down to a lower line. Maybe he and Bert drop down together. Point is that if we are complaining about Bert then Homer can't be left off the hook.
Kroner out 1 to 2 months.....I hope that the Wings convince him to sit out the Olympics. Wings will need him down the stretch.
Wings should still be okay. I expect them to hover anywhere from 5th to 10th until everyone gets healthy and then you'll see a push. Got to be patient when 3 of your top 7 players are out for 2 months (or more).

Howard played OK.....again
No Howard is not a super-star but he has been more consistent lately.
Good win for him especially considering he lost a key defenseman to help him out.
Losing Kroner will be bad for this team
If Kronwall is gone for a long time then that's 3 of their top 10 players gone.
Remember that they are subbed with players who wouldn't be in the NHl otherswise.
Hopefully he's okay.
THE NHL
The NHL will suspend Kronwall for putting himself in a vulnerable position. LaRoque will get player of the week honours. Bettman still runs the NHL remember.
Now if this was Pittsburgh that lost an All-star player ......whole different story.

Florida has a winning record on the road but a losing record at home. You can play dull hockey on the road but at home they probably push forward more and get caught.
That said Detroit should have had 3 or more goals tonight...they've missed a number of chances.

Game between France - Ireland ....tied 1-1 in aggregate for world cup soccer qualification. Next goal wins or they go to a shootout.
Watch the video...France's star forward Theirry Henry uses he hand twice to corral the ball and sent out front so a team-mate can score. The goal shouldn't have counted and Henry should have been banished from the game (RED CARD) for an intentional hand ball.
