What's with our Z?
In most game, he leads the Wings with SOG but has only 4 goals. If he is that good as many of you believe he is why is he not producing. Big O for Washington has 14 goals and usually has at least 2 goals when he has 6 SOG and tonight, our Z has no goals on 6 SOG .... very frustrating. Anyone else feels the same way?

I thought the same thing when Koppy dropped his gloves, it looked for a split second that he was regretting the decision, which his opponent seemed to pick up on. Remember Joey Kocher and Mac having looks of pure joy in that situation, it's a different style from Europe for sure.

Had the same experience, but with CI I could always find the Wings on an alternate channel.

I have DirecTV in Houston area, with the sports package and CI, I can watch every game. If you eliminate CI, what games will you lose?

Can Osgood win...
Chris... I meant that Osgood seldom outplays excellent goalies. In fact, the opposite goaler often play like they are Vezina goalies against the Wings. We have numerous example of this. Even second rated goalies have often brought up their game when facing the Wings and outshine Osgood. Too many times we have lost the game in the last ten minutes. Osgood has a bad record in shoot-outs if I remember well. He is a good goalie; he has to be to play in the NHL. I just hope our players and himself believe in Osgood and that he CAN make the difference.We need him to win.
Can Osgood win...
one for us? Yes, if the Wings score 3 or more goals but in my books, Osgood cannot win a 1-0 game in the playoffs. Hiller, Thomas, Luongo can and that what scares me. Osgood is not a Vezina goaler ... he is more than good when we score many goals. He is weak when the puck is behind his nets. He lets too many pucks sneak between his pads/skates and the posts. Also, if a player instead of shooting on him on the side of the net, he passes the puck to the opposite side, the other player will have a good chance to score as Osgood is way too slow to move across and his small size does not help him.
However, Osgood is OUR goalie so let us hope we protect him and give him all the chances he needs to win it for us. I have no choice but to believe in him. In Osggod I trust.
