The Lightning bought out the remaining four years of Vinny's contract making him an unrestricted free agent after he clears waivers. He scored 19 goals last year and 45 points in 82 games with a minus- 20, only three forwards in the NHL, were worse than that. He is slow and Imo would not fit in the Red Wings system. Also 34 years old.
