Another pitiful pitiful line change that results in a goal. Look at where the wings players were going off. And where the Leafs were storming Osgood. That line change looked like a pee wee squad. Wake up Babcock. That goal was on YOUR head!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Play for 60 minutes. Puck possession team plays puck possession hockey. But Ozzy is through. LOL! Instead of giving your opinion on every game like it is the end of the season why not wait? One day the Wings do not have any talent and the next day they show greatness. LOL! Did Babcock give up on his new style of play? Puck possession still works best for a puck possession team. It all starts with good defense. Stick with what works.

Spleener do not take me wrong. I do think we need better goal tending. But other problems are not going away if we get Jesus in goal. All I hear is Babcock saying we need to play better. We need to play 60 min. We need to get stronger on the blue line. Now when he comes on I turn the chanel. He is spreading bull s___ and he knows it. His team knows it. Time for the brass to sit down and figure out whats wrong. And I do not care how big a star they are. If they do not show up to play they sit. There are plenty of players who would give their all for this team.

Same old same old. Whining about the goalie. No goalie in the world can help the Wings if they will not play an entire game. Whos kidding who? A goalie will suddenly make the entire team play with toughness and the dee gets suddenly better? A goalie will stop the other dee from gliding down the middle while our dee watches them go by? And right to the net whenever they feel like it? This Wings team has some serious problems and it will take more than just a goalie.
Ozzy
I did not think I would see them score five goals. Not for a long time any way. It is time for Ozzy to hang it up. How can they take a chance any more? I thought Babcock was going to play Howard from the start. What made him change his mind? Who will he play tomorrow? I am afraid to guess.
Line change??
I see why Babcock is losing them. He can not even motivate them for 60 full minutes. Is it any wonder calling for a line change with a 3 on 2? awful!
The Wings
Look like a rag tag bunch of mis fits. Babcock: do you think Bertuzzi fits with Datsyuk and Zetterberg? Do you see chemistry? Bertuzzi with them is the opposite of chemistry. He REPELS them. You dont have the catch up offence you had last year. You can not keep mixing up your lines all year to throw it up against the wall and see what sticks. You have a scoring line that you are going to need to depend on. Probably the only one. Put Holmstrom back with the euro twins. If you wait until the last minute you will have nothing. You have to give them a chance to gell. You cant do it the game before the playoffs. Bertuzzi looks like a dog chasing his tail. He is an anchor around their neck.
FRANZEN
That is a BIG blow to the Wings. They have basically four players: Franzen, Lids Datsyuk Zetterberg. Now they have three.
There isnt a goalie out there
that can turn the Wings around. The problems go much deeper. Someone in leadership (Holland babcock?) is buying into the same troll bs that's spread here. Its all the goalies fault. They can not see what is happening. The Wings have never had a top tier goalie in the last decade other than Hasek. They have had the same defence and ofence but just decent goalies. They won cups WITHOUT great goalies.Now the trolls try to convince us that a goalie makes the difference. They have never needed a GREAT goalie before. The reason is the defence could clear the front of the net. They did not stand around watching the puck go up the middle and score. Are they afraid to check? The last 15 years or so the goaltending has been good enough but the team was built around the dee. A GREAT DEE. That's why we won. Can anyone get that through their head? Just like the blues said after the game. They have learned how to play us. Scotty always said he never did the same thing twice. Babcock is the opposite. There isnt a team out there that doesn't know our every move. And Babs does not have a clue this is happening. he is highly over rated. The defence coach left and now Babs is left to his own devices. We got to watch that last year and a continuation right into this year. Nothing will change until the brass brings in more defensive minded coaches who know what they are doing. That put the Wings on the map and it will bring them back again. Until then watch them slide.
How can we complain about the dee,
Maybe thats the problem. Rat eyes cant see it. He has always had his defensive sidekick to carry him. Now he is lost. It showed up as the elephant in the room in the play offs. Rat eyes needs somebody who knows dee. And how to school the troops! He stands behind the bench looking like a doe caught in the headlights.

The Wings failed because the Pitt coach shut them down. Wings came out with all the fire and emotion in the first period. But when a coach can use his defence like Detroit used to THEY ARE COOKED. When they could not get a shot off that’s when they lost their heart. They could not get a shot off. The guins shut down every lane. The swarmed over them like a pack of hungry dogs. The Wings had no plan for that. Babs never has a plan. He says perservere and stay patient. Do not change course. If we play one way we can win. Just one way. Only one way. BU!!$#IT. DETROIT HAS FALLEN APART IN DEFENCE. The head coach can not see it. Or does not know what to do about it. Which is wose????
Wings had fire until the guins took away all shooting lanes.

Do not worry about Hossa he is the least of the Wings problems.
Worry about Babs and how he does not know what to do with the rest of his players.
Worry about the Wings losing heart when they could not get a shot off.
Worry about Babs not being able to adjust to any of it.
Worry about a coach who let *&^% pk go on all year long.
Wory about A coach who can NOT inspire a team for THE SEVENTH GAME IN THE SCF!
Worry about a coach who says we will play our game. And he has no plan when his game gets shut down.
Worry about a guins team that was plain and simple better. WAKE UP! They shut the Wings down.
Worry about the Wings NOT ABLE TO GET OFF A SHOT.
Worry about finding the switch and finding it for next year.
Worry about a coach that let them coast all year with crap d and crap pp and crap pk.
Oh but don’t worry. They will flip the switch. Ya that really worked.
The elephant in the room
Why tippy toe around it? No one is addressing this. The pk sucks, Why does it suck? Because babcock did not address the elephant/ the pk during the reg season. The Wings being tired is no excuse. They got beat up with the ducks but thats playoff hockey. If Babcock would have worked on the pk it would help out with their being so tired. they could rely on someone beside Zett. If Datsyuk comes back he can help with that. Zett looks like he is worn out. And so does Lids. If Babcock does not know enough to play his DEEP DEEP player then he deserves what he gets. Lids and Zett will not last forever pushing them like that. Now when he really needs them they have nothing to bring.
