shot percentages that WILL change - then look out!
Zet - shot percentage 7.5%
Datsyuk - shot percentage 8.7%
Bertuzzi - shot percentage 5.3% (but had 5 shots last night)
Cleary - shot percentage 3.0%
Zet and Dats usually are in the 11% - 12% category, and Bert, IMO, can be in the 10%+ if they start too go in for him. Dan Cleary ranges from 8.6% to 11% usually./p>
When these guys shot percentages come back to normal, there's a good possiblity that we could start to have some breathing room in our games score-wise. And if Ozzie stays focused like he's been in his last two games, and we keep up the defensive temo, this team could become real dangerous.
Jimmy Devallano came out yesterday saying that the Wings are going to struggle all year just to make the PO's. I disagree. IMO, we have as good of chance as anyone to make the PO's and better than a lot of teams. We are one of the hardest working teams in the league and it's paying off in points. Now add some scoring luck, while keeping up the work ethic and the results can be nothing short of good!
