LIENO

Leino have had many good scoring chances, 2 or 3 good one last night. As long as he's having those he will be fine. Give him time.

Last year Lieno debuted with a pretty cool goal, when he scored from Homer's office facing away from the goalie. I thought, yeah, Baby! we got something here. But he doesn't seem to be that type of player on a consistent basis. It's hard to say what his game is at this point. I'm not seeing a power player, nor a real quick or fast guy, or even a great puck handler. So I'm with whoever said he's still trying to find his game in the NHL.

several problems with Lieno:

Primarily a slow skater and playing on a smaller rink makes him an easy target for any good-sized skater!

I dont think he's used to the North American game of hockey. Maybe he's not yet adjusted o the smaller ice surfaces and being hit...certainly looks like he's not used to taking hits :)

Leino looked better yesterday that he has looked all season; I am remaining cautiously optimistic. I think expectations were too high after his 9 points in 13 games last season. Some people expected him to hit 60. Well, he is not Hudler nor he is paid like Hudler wanted.

Lieno

Next game, I would substitute Filpulla on that line with Lieno. Lieno, Franzen and Hossa.

Lieno

I was very impressed with Lieno's play along the boards, and his ability to hang on to the puck.

Conklin played very well too-good at finding the puck through screens.

Pavel amazing as well as z.

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.
