Tiger prospects

Kind of interesting that the fan-graphs site would talk about just a handful of prospects - and two of them were Luke Putkonen and Joey (Brandon) Hamilton. Hamilton had a really rough year - and it's back to square one with him - he'll have to repeat W MI - and maybe a conversion the bully is in order.

I saw the RH Putkonen pitch and his fastball sat at 86-88 all night long - he looked very hitable - nothing special. It is interesteing to see that he allowed just 3HR for the season and had a very good ground ball rate. That Lakeland rotation is looking very crowded - and I was wondering if he would even get a spot in it - but maybe he will.

West Michigan had a lot of pitching talent blow through it this yr - Crosby and Brayan Villareal made the biggest impressions clearly. Matt Hoffman and Jered Gayhart had huge early success there - but struggled at higher levels. Adam Wilk made a huge first impression after being drafted in 09. And even Tyler Stohr, Tyler Conn, and Marc Sorensen were note worthy.

Tiger Prospects

It's too bad we have to be excited about prospects within the organization before Father's Day because the MLB team, despite being in first place, is fading very, very fast.

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.
