From Wojo on down there seems to be universal agreement that OSU blows UM out of the Shoe, I think people are being too hasty. First of all OSU can be defeated, they were knocked off by Purdue, who isn't a powerhouse by any measure. UM will not be under pressure, other than internal to win, since nobody gives them a prayer of a chance to do so. I think they could pull it off, it would make them bowl eligible and save RR's bacon, for at least another year.
Nothing is more dangerous than teams facing foregone conclusions.
Fair play for RR
If serious and major violations are found in the program by the NCAA all bets are off. However, I still think you have to give the man at LEAST 3 seasons to turn things around. If you fire him after the OSU game you nearly guarantee at least 3-5 more years of instability and chaos in your program.
The easy thing is to dump the new coach when the going is tough, it might not be the best thing in the long haul.
Please stop it....

I can sure see why you jumped on the UM bandwaggon, Eastern is just HORRIBLE, they aren't going to win a single game. At least your adopted team improved from 3 to 5 wins!

Thats the spirit Buckeye!! Let er rip!! Don't underestimate the desire of UM to knock your team off, and earn passage to the Jiffylube Bowl. Beating OSU would totally save RR's season.

If the sentiments shared here today by WC and PC are representative of wolvienation on RR, I am frankly suprised at how quickly his support has eroded.
There is a wild card factor here, WHAT IF UM upsets OSU Saturday, and gents I think that it could actually happen. PURDUE beat OSU, I think Ricky gets a pass for this season if he beats the Vest. OSU is fat and sassy having already locked up the Rose Bowl, they may not take UM as seriously as usual, this could be a trap game for them.

anakin Harbaugh would take the Michigan gig in a NY minute, no doubt at all. He is a true blue guy all the way, he wasn't being critical of the institution with his earlier comments, rather he was critical of individuals and the way they were running the program.
Enough already
First WC yesterday, now PC today, gents it's getting grim in A2 when the stalwarts start to distance themselves from RR. I think you guys are being premature, 2 years is just an unfair amount of time to give him, at the absolute minimum give Ricky 3 years to show improvement. As I pointed out yesterday, if you cut him loose before giving him a fair chance, you will do serious harm to your program, plus you will be right back to the beginning with somebody else, and your suffering over the last two years will be for nothing.
Maybe RR underestimated the difficulty of remaking the fb team in his own image, maybe the fans are underestimating how long it should take.

I am getting a little concerned over the disappearance of Tool, he hasn't been on here since I asked him if Rickyrod's career at UM had "peaked" since he ran out of Delaware State's to play?
I haven't read about any prison riots where he could be held captive,therefore he must be wandering the desert like Kung Fu, trying to come to grips with UM fb in the era of R2.

Leftcoast, as a Cubs fan you are used to losing in baseball, you just aren't used to UM fb being this bad. While I'm not shedding any tears over your predicament, you HAVE to give the guy 3-4 years, if don't give him a reasonable time to get it together, then all of your suffering will have been for nothing.
State has been through coach after fb coach, while this season has been disappointing after two good years, I view it as a setback not a disaster. Now beating PSU at home would sure help with whatever lower tier bowl we end up at. Believe the voice of experience, the Alamo or Insight Bowl beats the sitting home watching other teams bowl.
