The truth is this: The Meeechigan offense is definately improved. Better than States? I don't think so. I know that sounds likely biased coming from a partasan, but I honestly don't think it's as good. I honestly wouldn't trade it. I think we possibly are more conservative, and interested in ball control. But I like what we've got and the players we've got. I like Cousins better than Tater or Shoelace, and wouldn't trade Nichols for either also. Tate certaiinly surprised me, but his cocky attitude is too much for me. Shoelace so far has not impressed me. Minor is pretty good, and so is Brown, but I wouldn't trade them for any of our running backs... The spread option can be pretty lethal, but again, I think what we are doing is smarter, and therefore better...

I am very proud of the Spartans. We had some breakdowns, especially yesterday, but the overall picture looks really good. And this is why some of the resentful say stuff like Dantonio is underperforming. They want him fired mostly because he beats them on the field. But they say it's his record etc... etc...
The Spartans are growing in strenth. The future is so bright I've got to wear shades!

I agree it's slim, but they are down and out... They could reverse a big portion of the seasons pain in one fell swoop... The Buck's have only a long win streak riding on this. Some motivation against a rival or should we now say "once upon a time" rival... It's not meaningless to the Buck's but a win certainly couldn't approach what a win would mean for the Wolvies... The Buck's will need to show up and play hard. The Wolvies will. If the Buck's bring their "A" game it will be a blowout. But it's possible they show up with something less. If so, this could be interesting. Michigan can score with that offense. They've proven that. But, the 2009 Wolvie defense is in big trouble if Pryor starts his scramble running... They will look like swiss cheese with extra holes...
We will see... It's why they play the game...

I think you're right about RR needs another year. I think I would prefer 10 another years the way they've been easy for the green and white... Seriously though, if it's true what some are saying, then maybe it's time to cut their losses. Some are saying there is nothing coming for the defense next year. I haven't followed U of M recruiting enough to comment, but if that's true then it's time. There might be an uptick in offense as these young players get more seasoned, but if there is no change on "D" then the results will be similar...
