Scott
Hunting has not been that great. I don't get into it like I used to. I like to go out in the quiet, read a book, and hope a deer doesn't interrupt my fun. It will be time to get serious soon, though as I have that insurance policy called a doe permit. Because as NEPA said, I still really do like the back straps, sausage, jerky, etc. I know. I know. It's a Big Ten Forum. So, I'll end with a Go Green!

MSU 34 PSU 20 OSU 45 UM 14 Spoke with TC earlier, read the forum, then posted on the forum all from my hunting blind. Technology Rules!
Congrats Buckeye1
Call it Tressel ball or whatever you want, but it's the 5th title in a row, I believe. Quite a feat. Quite a feat indeed.
Who is the Luckiest and Most Overrated Team of the Decade?
KBassist, don't let your envy of Ohio State success and the disastrous Michigan football team get in the way of your judgment. Who was the last Big Ten team to win an NC in football? Case closed, and Wapner's going to lunch. Oh, yeah, and the 2009 Iowa Hawkeye team is the luckiest of the decade, just in case you didn't know. Maybe you and Hawkeye Dave can have dinner and discuss.
oh my goodness
Bucky, they are the luckiest team of the decade. Look at all the breaks they have had this season. Ridiculous.
That Kicker
Here we go again, Bucky. I agree with your previous post, though. They need to blitz the heck out of this kid, and he'll cough it up. Quit messing around.
Picks
Purdue 34, MSU 31- A little opposite will never hurt anyone.
Wisconsin 41, Michigan 20- Wisconsin physicality will punish that Blue defense.
OSU 24, Iowa 0- The fraudlulent Ferentz led Hawks get their second loss in a row. As Costanza would say, "That's a Shame". Take a little of that, Hawkeye Dave.
Congrats Bucky
Great win. Buckeyes have the best defense in the Big Ten, and deserve to win the Big Ten.
Picks
MSU 37, WMU 3
OSU 20, PSU 10
UM 34, Purdue 31
Bucky, I am going to go out on a limb and saying that Pryor will be the difference in a positive way. I am still not sold on Penn State. If Iowa can shut them down at home, then so can the Buckeyes. Unleash the hounds, Coach T. Let Pryor win the game.
100% correct
ADW, you are so right. People need to RELAX. Sure Dantonio is stubborn and bull-headed. I don't know of any coach that isn't, IMHO. I hope he learns a huge lesson because of it. This season has 3 losses that could have gone either way, and all 3 came out on the bad end. That just doesn't happen normally; not all 3. I would like to see Nichol when he can be utilized in the best way; i.e. inside the 5, when he can roll out and have the option to run it in or pass. He could be a force. This would bring up their red zone scoring immediately! Don't just throw him in there cold, for no apparent reason. That's just stupid.
Coaching
Celtic Warrior: Dantonio is a far better coach than BW or JLS, which isn't a particularly high bar. Celtic, I got a good chuckle out of that one. No, it isn't a particularly high bar indeed. And yes, his stubborn and pig headed attitude is biting him in the butt X 10 this season. He needs to realize that his offensive line can not impose its will on any Big 10 team this year. And I mean NOBODY.
Coaching
Celtic, I agree with you 100%. It's every coach's adage that "if you can't make this much in 4 tries, then you don't deserve to win." Well, guess what? I've seen the Spartans fail to make it too many times, and it's costing them games. Time to get imaginative inside the 3. Not that hard, coaches. You have a fleet of tight ends and wide receivers who are up to this task!!! As for the "D", I don't have a clue! They've went back to playing like they were 5 weeks ago. All of the stupid penalties are the biggest shocker for me. Anyway, I still stick by Dantonio. I will take him over Bobby Williams and John Loser any day. This season has just been a tragic accident. Every possible bad break that can befall a football team has happened to the Spartans this year. Every one! I will go to the mat defending Dantonio and say he gets the team back in focus enough to reach a bowl, and possibly knocking off Penn State. He has shown me too much his first two years to think otherwise. Sooner or later, the breaks have to go their way. They just do. And I believe this is the longest post I have ever typed. Can anyone see how much this team has me ticked off/frustrated?
lol goblu
Yes, that was quite a barrage!!
Boise St
You are on a roll today, Bucky. Boise State's field is an eye sore. Speaking of the absurdity of political correctness, I'm having stir fry for supper, as opposed to a taco. Just in case ESPN cares.
Bobcat
Bucky, with no offense to Ike, I hope you are dead on with your opinion.
