I never thought this fielding.yost was THE fielding yost. Lady Blue is correct THE fielding yost did not use a . between first and last. As well as THE fielding yost used captital for first initials. However, if the sign on is not case sensitive then someone trying to copy would have to change the name by adding a dot or so. Also THE field yost was from Ann Arbor- sure people move, but THE Yost appeared to have "inside" info from the athletic department and also know about Mich basketball and hockey. Just my observation.

I have met Fielding in person many times and spoken with him on the phone quite a few times as well regarding many things other than UM football. I found him to be very nice, definitely a family man and successful in his career and life. He is nothing like some of the things I have read about him on this site.

My opinion is not based on just a couple of random conversations about football or over a beer before a game. I have known him for at least 5 years now and have broken bread with him quite a few times, met before UM football games, played golf and discussed both of our business over the years. He is definitely not a "weirdo".

I did not participate in another forum where some things have been alleged to have happened so I cannot speak on it. Just like there are a few troubling things that I am aware allegedly happened from the other side as well that I can't speak on either.

Sure, he has rubbed a few people wrong here because he chose to engage some of the more zealous Spartan posters and took no crap from anyone and dished it out as well. He is no different than riceman and smart guy in that regard.

That being said, this may not even be him and many will disagree with me and say he is that, that and the other thing and none of the good things I said but I felt the need to give my opinion.

I know you are not going to stop on this until you get your way. To save you the time, I went back and looked up my prediction.

I said on 8/20/09:

"MSU record 9-3

(uncertainties: Wiscy, PSU & Illi game. Any of these games could go either way. They could very possibly end up 8-4, but 10-2 is unlikely)."

So there you go, I predicted 9-3 and I was wrong. Happy now?

I also predicted 4-8 for UM while several of your pals were predicting 8-9 wins. Looks like I may be pretty close there though. You gonna give me any credit for that.

Of course not, how silly of me.

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.

If you find a problem, please tell us, and thanks in advance for your patience as we work to improve the forums for you.
