We're a good (not GREAT) team stuck at 4-5. Could/Would/Should be better, but WE'RE NOT! We've played good (enough) for the past many games since Wis. Coulda/Woulda/Shoulda MANY games since, but have not. All is not lost, we're a pretty effing good 4-5 team, possibly the best 4-5 team in the land .. BUT we're still a 4-5 team. Blah!!! But I don't wanna give up 0n 09 yet, cuz we're still good enough to beat the rest of the slate, no doubt. GOOD effort tonight despite the early TOs. Fought til the roughing the punter.
I still dunno what happened at the end, I thought it was 4th down with 33 secs, -25 for the play clock, but I thought we had 8 secs left. Can't figure it out online yet, I can only assume it was 3rd down or something.

I'm not seeing it. Honestly, with what this team has done, winning the next 2 would surprise me. Then PSU? I'll be there with bells on, but losing 5 by 23 points sucks. It all seems too familiar.

Frankly I don't understand the big SOS ranking difference between MSU and Michigan. Excluding the cupcake teams, they both played, Michigan played two Top 25 ranked teams i.e. ND and Iowa. Now, ND may have been over-rated at the time, but from a strict schedule standpoint they were ranked. MSU played ND too, so it's a push, though they were not ranked at the time. MSU played Wisconsin, Michigan counters that Iowa (who were ranked #12). The only difference appears to be CMU and the fact that Michigan had more number games @ home. I frankly don't see a huge difference in quality of opponents. Once the PSU game is over, Michigan would have played more ranked teams than MSU (3 vs. 2). I almost forgot to account for the Michigan-MSU game. Michigan was ranked #22. I think the "playing @ home" weighs heavily in the SOS calculation, and maybe the fact Iowa is #7.

Yeah, Dell didn't have his best game. Though find me someone who can catch a crossing pattern where the ball is thrown behind him, at 3 inches above the knee.
Lots of ire for the UM defensive backfield. Look at it this way, they've scored as many points as the offense, so far.

I don't think the contention is that Cinci is a powerhouse team. At least my contention isn't. I think Kelly is showing that he can be a powerhouse coach at this level. Cinci has achieved its record with primarily 2-3 star talent. Just wonder what skeletons he has in his closet to have not warranted serious consideration at MSU or Michigan.
