Regarding Fielding Yost

Fell asleep during the World Series, shows you how much interest I had in that! Bad day at work and a couple glasses of Chard didn't hurt either. (smile) Woke up in time to see the interview with Matsui (?sp).

Catching up on the board:

Welcome back Mick. Thought the heat finally got to you down there and you went into reverse hibernation!

Ericn - I will answer your post tomorrow probably during my lunch break. Didn't want you to think I was ignoring your question.

Now to Fielding Yost:

I don't believe he is the same poster who left the board last winter. If you notice, his name is fielding.yost and not fielding yost.

In using the period between his first and last name, the computer thinks this is a new handle and not the fielding yost of old. Someone could go on here and use blue.incolumbus and post deragoatory remarks, sign it Lady Blue and you would think it was me.

The first post by f.y sounded like the old fileding who was quite knowledgeable about Michigan and football in general. The more posts I read from this f.y, it almost sounds like he is baiting the MSU posters into anger. With anger comes the irrational and possible name calling therefore, getting a poster banned. Sorta like basement guy's last post.

Now as much as some of you Green posters irritate me, I would not want to see you banned because someone who may or may not be a Michigan fan is playing this childish game.

Believe it or not I enjoy most of our verbal jousting and also the challenge it affords me of winning some of you over and earning your respect. I also enjoy learning from you guys. Dang, I hope that one doesn't come back and bite me!

When it comes right down to it, we all have one thing in common, the love of our respective teams and college sports in general.

I remember FY's posts to be very informative and yes he did anger a lot of you, but stooping to this level was not his way. Cripes, some of you guys anger me and if sometimes your ears burn, well you know.

I think I am right on this one. And since it takes me a while to sort out who used to be who, things have stayed relatively uniform as of late with the regulars being the regulars and the drive-bys being an irritation.

Have a great day tomorrow all.

Lady Blue

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.

If you find a problem, please tell us, and thanks in advance for your patience as we work to improve the forums for you.
