You make some excellent points in your analysis of the OSU/PSU game. I realize that I am biased but I feel that the Bucks are the more talented team. Does the more talented team always win? Heck no. PSU usually plays a flawless game which makes it very difficult. If Pryor is able to control the offense, I like our chances. Should be interesting. Bucks-17 PSU- 10. Go Bucks! Go Spartans!!

save your fingers. Read that for what it was. Compare her stated seat location row 13 about the one yard line, section 6 with the seating charts at MICHIGAN and msu. She was reading off the ticket stub of her freshman tickets at msu! Go back, just before 1 today, and read her last sentence plus of course the numerous mis spellings!

Then he and tassel can join hands and sing kumbaya together! LOL

Here is the deal, Elmark. If Rogriguez gets out of this mess unscathed, Buckeye and Spartan fans will then be able to call him "The Teflon Snake Oil Salesman". LOL

"This, too, shall pass and Rodriguez will get his chance to excel in Ann Arbor. Let's hope that he isn't too successful against the Spartans and Buckeyes. "

I almost fainted, at reading a reasonable post from Brutus! BUT fair is fair and right is right. SO I am forced to applaud him for a sensible post.

OF course, just like beauty is in the eye of the beholder, perhaps also is a fair post! LOL

Looks like Brutus is echoing the words of tassel and the other conference coaches. EVEN dumbtanio, through clenched teeth!

LOL

PS Keep it up Brutus. IF MICHIGAN screws up, call us on it. IF we do it right, or we are able to show the allegations were unsubstantiated, then call it that way also. I, for one, would not have it any other way.

I have no idea what you are talking about with your statement of "stupid snipes from both Spartans and Buckeyes". Do we find this whole fiasco amusing? Heck yes. Do we have any sympathy for the UofM?? Heck no.

If you recall, a few years ago this forum was in a buzz about OSU and alleged infractions from the Mo Clarett era. The UofM fans were calling for a Congressional investigation into wrongdoing by Tresell and his coaches, boosters, fans and anyone else affilliated with OSU. As we all know, the NCAA could find no infractions and the matter was dropped. Well, it wasn't dropped by some of the Maize and Blue fans who continued to cry foul long afterward. Talk about sniping!! Now, the shoe is on the other foot and it is pinching badly. This, too, shall pass and Rodriguez will get his chance to excel in Ann Arbor. Let's hope that he isn't too successful against the Spartans and Buckeyes. Geaux Bucks!!

Capn Morgan - good point. Wow, the Miami schudule is tough. Yikes. Good luck to them.

I don't tend to worry in re other teams schedules, only Michigan's. However, it does seem like JoePa has alot of patsies like Michigan on his schedule LOL.

"I don't like Michigan's schedule"-MGZ-

And MSU's lining up with Montana State is pathetic as well. We can both feel better about ourselves with a peek at Jopa's itinerary which I listed in an earlier post.

Unfortunately it seems to be the thing to do. Look at Miami, Fl. though.

"But no question for Michigan, the Ohio State game is the most important game of the year and my whole life always has been. We want that game like no other. Why?"

let me opine on the why.

First: Until recently (a relative term) only the conference champion went to a bowl (Rose Bowl)and in many cases that last game of the year was pivotal as to which team won the conference. So that LAST game had increased importance. There was no NEXT week.

Second: 90% or more of the graduating seniors would never gain strap on pads and play football at any level. As pre game speeches would emphasize, that last game of your career is the one you will carry with you forever! And there is NO do overs! Even when there was no bowl game on the line, it was still the LAST game for so many. NOTHING to save it for! ONE game to play, a LIFETIME to recuperate if injured and a LIFETIME to play that mental video over and over. The internal intensity is unbelievable!

Note: The fact that Michigan and ohio share a border means NOTHING! We also share borders with Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin. In the age of jet planes, all games on TV, Internet, and national recruiting, the main driving force of the MICHIGAN/msu game has shrunken. It is STILL one of the historical rivalries to be sure. But NOT like the days when so many of your HS friends either went to MICHIGAN or msu. The loser had to live with that every time he went home! Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, spring break, and even worse was summer. The days at the beach could be torture! Funny thing about the taunts though, while you wanted to jab your friends as much as you could, you were also aware that next year could be turn about! There would be too times the taunts were most intense. Right after the loss, while it was still fresh, and just before the season began again cause it might be the last shot for a year! LOL

"Under Mason’s watch, MSU became the second largest fundraising school in the Big Ten, raising more than $24 million in the 2006 fiscal year. Mason used the revenue to implement renovation plans for three athletic facilities.

The first project was the $64 million expansion of Spartan Stadium in 2005 that added 3,000 seats, 24 suites and a 193-seat press box.

From the Michigan Daily: "The budget approved in July by the University Board of Regents assumes that the University will receive at least $320 million from the state for the 2008 fiscal year, the same amount of state funding the University received last year. State funding comprises about 25 percent of the University's budget."

Now that you are catching onto Michigan Football Fever, zebra, let me give you a few other reasons to be optimistic as heck, and not be a negative nabobic nincompoop of nonsensical nitwitted know-nothing nooberastic neeble-nifferdoodlery. You see, we are not fans of sparty. We do not need to hide under the couch "grooming" ourselves and yapping like a chihuahua and being ankle biters. Our Mighty Michigan has stood the test of time. Oh, yeah, we have one bad season out of the last 41, and everyone wants to jump up and down screaming that this is the end. HAHAHA I say! The sparties have had Forty Seasons of Dung, so they don't have any room to make fun of our beloved Wolverines. They are smack-talking hypocrites who spew hatred and do nothing but call names and rail on posters simply because they are True Blue Michigan Fans. But we do not do that. We don't stoop to their level of mundane idiocracy and dumb dumb talk because we are Michigan fans and we are better than that. Simply Dimply. You can't change nature, and by nature, Boogers-n-Buckeyes like their PBR, their Cheeze Whiz, and their velvet "Dogs Playing Poker" wall hangings.

But we Michigan Fans have true artists like Monet, Picasso, DaVinci, Mellebrand, Davidov, Manet, and others hanging on our walls. We love abstract and impressionistic art. We love sculpture, while the Boogers-n-Buckeyes stack empty beer cans on their window sills, or think rotting garbage under their couch constitutes "creativity" in that they are breeding cockroaches and mice, as well as various forms of disease that may one day kill about 700 million people.

zebra, I am glad you are catching onto Michigan Football Fever. We TRUE Michigan Men know that our beloved Wolverines are going to be back on the right track very soon, if not sooner. In fact, we know that our beloved Great Coach, Rich GODriguez, has our Wonderful Wolverines on the right track right now.

We are improving the Big House with almost 300 Millions of Dollars in renovations--NONE of it from the tax payers. UM athletics accepts NO tax payer funds, unlike sparty, which bilks the taxpayers as a land-grant institution. That's right, the poor people of Michigan have been subsidizing sparty football for years. How do you like that? Payhing them to be total crap for 40 years? I'd say MSU owes the taxpayers a huge refund. And their ticket prices have steadily climbed even while they have put an inferior product on the field (if you can call that hovel they play in a football field. I think the Mean Machine had a better stadium to play in).
