Are you kidding me? This is a bowl game. We don't have a chance. Seriously, I'm more worried about our offense more than our defense. They will score some points on us but can we match it? I have my doubts. I'm not impressed with our offense. Understatement of the year.

Bucky, I knew that was a joke. I have great respect for you and have since I read your first post. I respect many of the posters on here and really hope to meet a lot of them next year an UM - MSU game. That is if I am invited to JG's fabulous tailgate!

I just used your post to lead in to my rebuttal to Kleats.

Do the dishes indeed - isn't that what they make diswashers for???

I know you are the only lady. That I know of at least. That was the joke! I was just trying to lighten things up. Don't be offended by the joke though. I say that joke about myself too. I tell my sisters all the time I am their favorite brother, even though I am their only one. Or my mother-in-law I am her favorite son in law (no others). So I wasn't trying to knock you cause you were a woman. I was just being me. I often laugh when I see you sometimes beating up these "men" in here on occasions. Some of these guys get pretty tough with you in here but I know they respect you, even though they may not admit it. You have won numerous intellectual battles over the two years in here and that is why you have gained the respect that you deserve. Seriously.

Buckeye

As far as I know I am the only lady on here. If there are others, I am not aware of them.

Hey maybe there are doing dishes just like Kleats expects them to do.

Coach, you live in Heath, I live in Blacklick. We are 25 miles apart. How about we meet in the middle, have a few beers, talk sports and see just who is the most knowledgeable about the current state of Michigan football. Oh and make sure you bring your wife, if you have one, because I am sure she would just love to hear what you believe she is best suited to do as a woman.

And when it is all said and done, loser does the dishes.

Are you game? Or will you pull a Bluska?

on = own.

I think my message I typed to gaylan threw off my equilibrium. How does he do that? I can't get my fingers uncrossed.

One last thought. Another reason you do not need to be throwing those labels around is because you hold your on quite well in here. You've proven you do not need that to win an argument.

Just thought of another one. I personally think you are the smartest lady in here. Just sayin.

lady blue please continue to post.....anyone that says to fire RR after having one recruiting class....

and expects a coach to be able to play freshmen right after coming out of high school and grad him by that-

that will not look back at previous recruitig classes....to try and begin to get a logical grasp of what might actually be going on......

are pretty illogical..... regardless of being faithful to mich or not..... i am not saying there isnt coaching issues....assistants etc....may not be very good or are not a good fit here?< and that starts and ends with the head coach-/p>

GOO BLUE....ALWAYS!!

"I appreciate your posts about giving RR a chance to succeed. You are one of the Spartan posters on this board who thinks logically about our coaching situation" Just because you think many of us are wrong for thinking RR does not deserve another chance does not mean we are not thinking logically. I believe calling us illogical simply because we disagree is over the top. I encourage you to just let your opinions stand on their own merit without trying to gain an advantage with the personal attacks. The guys on here are extremely logical. Just because we disagree does not give us the right to label each other as illogical.

"the fact that you (PC), Patton and Gobluwho have done a total 180 about our team. ...Michigan fans have always been known for their loyalty to their team and coaches through thick and thin. But, my loyalty hasn't been swayed wherein yours has." You questioned PC's loyalty to the team, not just to Rich. Again, I think that is over the top and is uncalled for.

"You've said yourself (Buckeyes1), you hate Michigan and for that reason alone I would have to question your objectivity." If that were true, then that would also mean if you love Michigan and for that reason alone I would have to question your objectivity. There would not be any point in us even conversing with each other if we did not have mutual respect for each others opinion. I disagree with your position but I do not question your objectivity simply because you love Michigan. I would also find it offensive if you really question mine as you said. I have proven over many years on this forum that I can still be objective, even to the point that many UM posters respect my opinion. I know that is true because they have told me on here numerous times. If my opinion were not respected, I would not come around here. And for what it's worth, I do not HATE Michigan. I've said on here on more than one occasion that I never want UM players to be in trouble with the law, get hurt, etc. In fact, I said I would be willing to give my life for a UMer if I had to. About hatred, I said in sport only. By that I mean, I hope we win tomorrow 85-0. Nothing wrong with that. But I have proven I can lay my prejudice aside and put forth a logical argument when it comes to talking about UM.

how in the world do we make the other Michigan unfaithfuls understand? Again, labeling them unfaithful simply because they disagree with you is over the top. Just because you have two different viewpoints does not make them unfaithful and you faithful. It just makes you more patient than them. Please do not be calling people on here, illogical, unfaithful, not loyal, fair-weather, not objective, etc simply because they have a different viewpoint than yours. I can understand it if you were to say that to someone who says if UM loses tomorrow, they will never follow them again. But the context of these quotes are pertaining to mostly frustrated UM posters who care deeply about the future of UM football and feel UM will be in greater danger of getting back to the top if you wait another year on Rich.

Thank you for the detailed response. First let me say that I don't understand where you get that I am "jumping ship" or "my loyalty being swayed". I have put my money where my mouth is over the years and attended 100+ games and cheered my arse off for this program just as I will on Saturday.

I have purchased their merchandise by the truckload for myself, friends and family and have donated money to various functions the University has promoted or represented. I didn't even attend the school and have probably done more than many that have in terms of support. I want what is best for UM football, period.

I simply do not think that RR is going to survive what is happening in AA and if that is the case I do not want to go through this another year or two down the road. The damage will be even worse and the 2 best candidates we will see are available right now in Kelly and Harbaugh. Do you want to make this inevitable decision in a year or 2 when both of these coaches are already in their next and potentially final job? I don't.

I would love nothing more than to see RR thrive and win big and stick it in the face of his detractors within the program and the media especially. I just don't see this happening and I try to be a forward thinker when it comes to business decisions like this and make no mistake, UM football is a business and is run as such.

I have more to say to you about the specifics on the field and the off the field embarrassments but do not have the time. I will though when I get a moment later. I did however have to address the issue of loyalty or jumping ship as you put it immediately.

No I definitely did not forget about you. Last night I posted late and was tired and just countered some posts.

I plan on answering your post tonight after I get back from dinner.

I printed your post the day I read it and I've re-read it a couple of times.

Answering your post has taken a lot of thought on my part as I don't want to post anything to anger you or the other posters like Patton and Gobluwho whom I respect so much.

You may not like my answer, but you will definitely get one this evening.

Funny thing is that even if GRob can get this team to around a mid-pack defense next season they will be hard to beat because they can put up points.

Bob,

I didn't look up everything in the GRob past, but if you've ever played fantasy football, you remember what a gem he was in KC from 2001-2003, where they scored like mad, and couldn't stop anyone.

For reference, his defense's rankings in total D:

2001- 23rd (of 31)

2002- 32nd (of 32)

2003- 29th (of 32)

When you check out the 1998 SB, you will find the greatest athletic move inte history of pro sports in Colorado. Of course , I am speaking of the Elway Dive. You are correct about '97, but the Pack scored on the Broncos. In both Super bowls, the dominate group on the field was the Bronco Offebse (remember T Davis?). 2 years later the Broncos D was a bust because they had to play more than half the game almost every week and other teams figured them out. Please attempt to find a Coloradan that has any thing good to say obout GR. I talk to those fanatics every day. The Texas thing was even worse if I recall.I'll say this: you know your stuff and I respect your opinions.

Off to the Airport.

During the 1998 playoffs, the Denver Broncos defense held the Dolphins scoreless in the first playoff game. Against the Jets,in the championship game, a touchdown was scored due to a fumble on the one yard line. In the Super Bowl that year, only one touchdfown was cored in the 4th quarter.

If that is what you consider Robinson's bad defense, we'll take it.

Now to satisfy my curiousity, which you peaked, I will study the numbers of the opposition put up against the '97-98 Broncos along with his season at Texas.

Maybe or maybe not a report tomorrow.

Now I am truly out. (fox)
