Sick and Tired 1984, you have made some very ignorant statements. Are you suggesting that black people don't pay taxes? Because, just like whites, blacks are required to pay them as well.
Also, how is it that 4 black kids from Detroit would get a slap on the wrist? Have you not been paying attention? Prisons are PACKED disproportionately with blacks and Hispanics, while whites get the slap on the wrist.
I agree that these kids should not face felony charges (I like the suggestion of sending them to the Marines!), but there's not much reason to play a discrimination card here. You'd probably be the first one upset if a black person did the same.

Nice, I'm glad we are releasing repeat felons due to lack of money back to Detroit. But Four, White College students at MSU light a firework and they get 20 year felonies thrown at them, sounds more like the greed of the court system going after money of "TEACHING these white Kids from Middle Class Families a Lesson". Real nice Lansing Police Force....hooorah. If this is pursued I will never donate or support any police agency in this state, and I encourage others the same.
What upsets me imagine if 4 Black kids from Detroit that are non-students did the same?? Courts would check there hometown, probation and see ya....NO MONEY!! Now I'm a rascist, I said black, whatever.... sue me.
