Ex-engineer's mathematics add up

The work of this exuberant and selfless ex-engineer needs a lot of commendation and all the support that one can think of.It is of no doubt that Mathematics poses great "threat" to most students all over the world. This innovative approach by a concerned parent like Nicholas Aggor is an attempt to solve most if not all the problems that any student, parent or teacher would encounter in Maths.I have a personal experience with my little brother in grade 7 who proved to be excelling in all other subjects except Maths. I seemed not to have much time for him because of my academical load in the university.Fortunately for me, a friend introduced me to Math Teaching Series and I got the grade 7 book for him. Frankly, I was amazed at how this boy could just follow the step by step approach in the book to solve almost every question he came across. In just one term, this boy whose performance in Maths was so upsetting turned out to be the best maths student in his class and most of his mates were seeing him to explain topics to them after class. I must confess that I became so proud of him and I really owe this man ( Nicholas Aggor) a depth of appreciation.I have come across several Maths books but I must confess that the style of Math Teaching Series is exceptional. Its simplicity, step by step approach and generously worked examples are structured in such a way that not even the worst student will be unable to excel in Maths. We are in Ghana and this book has proven so useful to us.I'd encourage all students, parents , teachers, libraries, governments and all stakeholders in education who have the well being of students at heart to critically consider these books and adopt them as full time text books or supplementary books to save the situation.

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.

If you find a problem, please tell us, and thanks in advance for your patience as we work to improve the forums for you.
