D n assists
The facts are simple as stated from begining of season Pistons are last yes LAST in the entire league with only 11.4 assists per game. Maybe that is why Tay only gets off 2 shots in 2nd half in most of the games. This isnt goig to cut it we have no such thng as a true point guard. only shooting guards. As far as D cant understand the NBA philosophy of supposing to be plkaying man to man yet even when the other team has the best 3 pointers in league they leave a guy open so they all can stay close to the lane where 4 other guys are already there then ball moves to the wide open corner or perimieter for easy 3 . Poor Ben touches the ball 3 times a game that makes the P's playing 4 against 5 since the other team knows they dont have to worry about guarding him as they lay way off n clog the middle. THan Kwame utterly disappointing no hustle back on D cant catch the ball no offensive reebies for a 7 footer. FYI Amir led the Raptors last night with 4 offensive boards hmmmmmm even scored even assisted WOW Assisted give that guy a contract

Once again this season Amir JOhnson the young hustle kid Joe D kicked to the curb was in the top +- unit fo the Raps.They went 24/2 while he was in. As always He was invlolved with his hustle n disruption on D way more than his stats showed as he altered 3 shots n really blocked a couple he didnt get credit for.Even led on offensive reebies and the PLAY of the game was said to be Jacks excelent over head backwards pass to AndreA for a stuff was actually made possible by Amir who picked Jacks man completely out of the picture to allow it to happen. It scalds me to watch Kwame do his lacadasic lope back down the floor on D as his man zips past him for easy layups n unable to catch the ball.Amir is always the fastest guy back on D than any one anD HIS quick release off of D reebie had Kelser praising him. look at Kwame or Max's stats for year less than 1 point per game maybe 1 reebie.At least Max hustles but his lack of size is proving to be a burden to his contribution.Now take Amir n he is still next to Bosh in offensive reebie this year with very little minutes n yeah he was 4/4 at FT.
2nd thought 3 guards are scoring bunches but less then 12 assists /game so far isnt going to get it done

Amazing how now the writers mention that Curry's dumb trap play is now being questioned. the same dumb Curry trap that gave up over 26 points a game, The same curry trap that guys like me who have done some coaching know it is not going to work n complained so many times about in comment forums. Way to go Mcoskey where were u when we needed u I even sent u an E on the subject. But back to MC It seems that Mr D has spoken from the grave to get rid of a man who just was not qualified n only one guy is to be blamed n that is Joe. He hired him and would have kept him like he was planing on until some outside pressure forced him to fire him now instead of earlier, Also since Joe has not added another positive piece to improve the P's in last 3 years unlike the other 5 East teams have doen each year tells me that JOe is n should be on a very short lease this year

Joe says he always wants a guy with character. DUH how did AI fit into that scenario.? or does Joe mean "A CHARACTER"
Amir trade
Hmmm once again Joe has goofed again Amir led the team in offensive boards,blocks,put backs. stuffed the lane. fastest outlet pass in league, led team with 59% shooting percentage,even make FT's and runs the floor the best on team and his hustle is the best as he is always the first one back on D. Kwame is always the last. Sure he picked up too many fast fouls but he had 6 to give so why notuse them all. he surely would have mellowed out after more then 2 minutes of playing time.Does any one rememebr when Amir started the P's were way above 50% after he was benched under n stayed under n finished in last place, John Hammond knows this kid n if Scott does the runing game look for Amir to excel, Scott loves a hustle guy n this is what Amir is all about unless Curry has sucked the life out of him this season. Salary cap baloney. Joe is not going to get any big name guy to come here n play for a nothing coach and a go no where team. If u think last season was a disaster hold onto ur hats. Between Joe and what Kerr has done to the Suns will go down in the annals of the NBA as the two worst decisions ever made. Joes biggest problem was having done not one trade in last 3 years to improve the Pistons while 6 of the East teams made trade after trade each year n 3 of them went to the finals.Nuff said

Any one who thinks JOe D only made the "TRADE" for salary cap is so missing the boat. Joe did it because he thougth he was making the trade of his career and it fell flat. He wasnt happy to make 6 straight east finals so Chaunce is on his way to west finals while AI is off to the next roulette wheel with Millions of Piston bucks. He only brought Curry back as coach becasue since it was his sole idea to bring Curry in he had to save face by keeping him. We all know how stupid this looks to have fired 3 50+ winnning coaches one HOF guy one with 60+ wins 6 ECF with a chance to win a ship but he put in his fair haired boy who succeeded in losing more games then he won 39-43 with only losing one starter Chaunce. ANY QUESTONS? does any one really think any top player is going to want to come play with a coach like this. NOT!! Look for P's to once agqain not make the playoffs and yes not win 50 games. Geez hope I am so wrong. This season has taken it's toll on a guy who bleeds Piston r/w/b
Sheed McCosky AI Curry n other stuff
First saw McCosky before game with Kelser and he had no slack for AI which I agree, since AI has been dogging it for a month no way his back was that bad and his play is so poor he not only should come off bench he maybe should never come off of it. Then McCosky gave Sheed all the slack in the world for his dumb Tech as he said well he had a legitimate squawk about the Lebron Tay call. So lame so Bad McCosky . Sheed is not a team player and hurts them more then u report. 42 points in paint and no one seems to know why especially Curry DUH!! it's because you want them to trap n double on the ball each pick leaving their man wide open for easy dunks or dishes that cost the P's over 26 points a game and yesterday it was over 40 Dice MAx Sheed Kwame Rip have no idea how to play the pick n roll only Tay n AMir do it like it is supposed to be done WAtch how fast AMir steps out slows the ball down and hustles at light speed to get back on his man. Fianlly Curry replaced KB with AMir and only 14 points were scored in 2nd half. What can I say as AMir stopped all penetration altered shots made blocks even a assist and once again had team leading +/- with +7. At least Curry recognized he was doing better than KB and played him a season high 25 minutes wow way to go Coach??
Dice is toast sorry to say his ecsssive minutes have him being only a shell of what he was last month. how many times have we all said this would happen. Curry could have played the bench more to alleviate this problem Dice doesnt even attempt to block a guy coming in paint anymore nor does Sheed. next 2 games will tell the truth if P's make the playoffs. Joe D blames the players but Celtics Cavs Magic Hawks Nuggets Bobcats have made many trades to make their teams contenders and all Joe has done in 3 years is to bring in AI n trade their heart n soul for him. Joe D needs to share a lot of blame for this embarrasssing season
AI Sheed
Sorry AI but if u had played more than the Cavs wold have scored more since u let ur man score 6 straight points as soon as u came in as well had 3 TO's The AI circus is about to really ramp up as all he can talk about is the phrase "coming off the bench" get over it man n Sheed who is so bloated n over weight is a liability. refuses to stop penetration with love taps to any one who comes in the paint. and as far as how great Kwame is playing D is just nonsense, true he got some reebies even made one stop in paint but he left his man time after time for close to 14 points same with Dice Sheed Max did. Rip humg down in paint while Cavs best 3 pont shooter Gibson is out on the 3 line for 6 straihgt points P's should have won this game by 20+ points as that is how many easy points htese guys allowed not staying on thier man. N MC not playing AMir n AA just doesnt make any sense at all Surely AMir woould have picked up 3/4 offensive boards with a few good blocks. Max had one Reebie in first half no blocks in fact onlu 1 block was made by the P's NO excuse Curry. 8 ASSists 14 Turn overs not a very good stat is it seems to always reflect low shooting % doesnt it.

What can I say that I havent been commenting about Finally MC played AMir for 19 minutes instead none or one and P's win with Defense. KB had a decent game exceot for his D as he left his man over and over and allowed 22 easy points in paint Amir completely reversed this scenario as he played the pic n roll to perfection something KB has no idea how to do as he tries to play it like MC wants team to do KB n Dice , Max are completley lost out there on pick n roll. KB if u watch him he just logs down from one end to the other I timed him he averages 8-10 seconds to travel this short distance Amir sprints and is alwsy the first P back on D. Amir had a +- rating of +10 KB had -16 n Max had -13 and Amir mkaes FT's which KB n Max have a hard time doing as they shoot less then 50% n Amir is in the 70%+ category so whom should be playing more then he has been AMIR
Is AI really Hurt
Just wondering what others think, Is AI really that injured or is his nose bent out of shape about having to come off bench and were winning better with out him etc The TNT guys talked a lot about that. Wouldn't it be kinda nice to have a HOF guy on the sidelines some time cheering team mates on. Oh by the way AI if your wondering what a team mate is.It's the other guys in the same unis as the one u wear.

Once again in only 10 minutes Amir showed why he should be getting substantial minutes. In only 19 minutes he had 6 reebies 3 offensive 3 blocks 3 points 3 penetration stops, 3 altered shots many saving hustle plays completley shut down Brad M n Noah which KB made look like an allstar as did MAx who once again didnt have a single rebound or point in 20 minutes KB's D was so bad he allowed 20+ points by leaving his man and not try to stop penetration something that Fratello Reggie kept talking about n they know a little about this game. KB played 27 minutes and was a complete liablity except for his 11 rebounds which 5 fell into his lap on long range clamkers when he was out by foul line. Amir was the only one with a rebound for 6 minutes in 4th qtr and had 3 of the measly 5 points the P's had scored and as soon as he made a 3 in lane violation Curry pounced like a vicious puma and yanked him YEA he gleefully said Gotcha! Git on da bench what is it with Curry on how he treats a guy so badly who has the potential to make every one forget about Ben one who can make him look like he knows what he is doing. Curry must go. As said before if P's lose at the Bulls, their season is over only potentail win in next 4 games are the Wizards

O K here we go troops going to make a comment that maight seem like heresy in the D town.
Remember last year when P's didnt make the finals and Joe ranted n raved that every one is expendable. or in other words these guys are bums anad are going to be outta here, Um after averaging almost 60 wins a season he said they are too complacent abd that is why they are getting beat.HMM again lets see now General mgrs of Celtics a last place team traded for Garnett Allen Posey plus a few others and won the Ship. Cavs made a trade for a guy name BEN plus Hughes plu Smith plus West plus plus and are now the best team in the NBA. Hawks traded for P outcast Flip Murray and is among the leaders of the team and are the 4th best team in EAST Joe traded Nazie for 2 unknown guys from the Bobcats one is in Europe some where, the other is a fan favoites becsue of his hair and makes a few 3's for the P's but has only 1 rebound in last 4 games. hmm Before that Joe got rid of one of the best D guys off the bench Mike James n Lindsay.his best trade was Sheed which was a good one for one season and not the 2nd becasue he cost the P's the shoip hy leaving his man Horry had he not P's would have won the game and the Ship. He still leaves his man all the time especially the way Curry does the fanous Curry Trap 2 man on ball costing the P's at least 20+ points a game, and now for the coup de grace he dumps the heart n captain Chaunce for AI who is a complete failure for Ps. and a coach who has no idea what is going on and cant communicate in english to his players n they just walk away from him in huddles. NOW before the last game Joe said the way P's are losing is actually a very good thing because it teaches the players not to be complacent because is shows how fast the seaon can turn. DUH!! unbeliveable This is a guy who is playing the CYA game to perfection. Losing is a great teacher?? OMG Joe. Think the reaon for losing is of your trade and no trades while the other guys have passed u by . from, 59 wins to maybe 40 in one season is inexcusable.

yes I am a big pusher of Amir for playing time. HOw any one can over look the fact that until the last 10-12 games where MC refuses to play him he actually had more offensive rebounds then any one on the team and that was done with only a third of the minutes of any starter. more than Max, also is still the leading shot blocker per minute than any one. also is shooting 58% from the floor and 70% from FT line. Max n KB get fouled but cant make the shots, even gets a few assists and alters more shots in the paint then aby other player. Sure he makes too many fouls but MC doesnt seem to understand he has 6 avail, so use them dummy. Mahorn used to say I've got 6 fouls to give adn htey are all for the other guys tryng to come in the paint. Dice KB n Max seem to refuse to step up and stop penetration. The way Curry berates AMir is worse then Vick treated his dogs. Any one remember the Sunday national tv game when AMir was allowed to play 20 minutes. Amir was all the broadcasters could talk about as he had double double and close to a triple with 6 blocks 5 offensive reebies and put backs. And now Curry doesnt even play hin and is wearing out the older guys fast. It isnt by accident that Sheed Rip have come up lame and now Tay is hobbling soon it will be Dice, any one try n tell me that Amir cant be useful for 10 minutes has no idea what this kid can do.Think it is an ego thing with Curry cause he knows he should have never benched him so as soon as AMir makes a small mistake he yanks him after only 1 minute unbeliveable. Also any one think Curry kinda messed up not playing AA and Wilby more before.They only get in becasue of injuries and do better than the guiys they have replaced. We all love Max's dunks but they only count 2 points fans. and last two game Max has played 25 minutes each with no rebounds until last few minutes in 4th qtr same as for his scoring ,zippo. til Tay found him for 3 easy ones in 4th.Amir got in for 4 minutes and had P's first block in only :30 seconds. game before had Amir played surely he could have made one block or stop and P's would have won the game Any one who says Amir has no heart hasnt watched this kid run the floor as he is alwasy the first one back from other end and his trying so hard gets him into foul trouble also agree with the commentor that it seems the refs give him no slack at all as his 2nd foul the other day kinda proves this as his man slammed himto the floor with his arm and AMir picked up his 2nd fast foul so Curry Yanks him stupid is what stupid does.

Hard to believe less than a qtr of the seasonleft and Curry still hasnt established a starting line up or rotation. That is enbarassing. Any good coach worht his salt shoule not have put himself into this postion. Sorry but MC is out of his league for being an NBA coach. ANd all u guys that speak so highly of Dice lets look at the facts o k. Rebounding he is excellent.50% Ft's 30% from field and Defense he gives up too many easy buckets like Sheed does on Currys TRAP as he n Sheed stay with the ball now having 2 P's on it thusly leaving their man wide open for easy shots or dishes. Last 2 games Sheed was responsible for 20+ points and Dice 10+ by leaving their man. if you want Dice to stay in then have him and Sheed just switch on pick n rolls and P's are still 5 on 5 D not 4 on 5. P's are giving up 30 points a game by leaving their men wide opem. Come on Curry watch how C's play pick n roll and learn how to win. And play AMir til he uses up his last 6h foul instead of taking him out after only 5 minutes of playing time . When Amir gets to play n gets his AHH, as Rip calls it, into his rhythm we know he is a show case momment but to take him out never to return is Disgusting coaching
