Get a decent big Joe.
Griz- Hey Griz, yeah Ben looks great. I'm just concerned that with a heavy work-load he'll wear down at the end of the year. Certainly not due to lack of conditioning, but his body has a TON of miles on it.

great points, Flydog! ... Charlie V is kind of growing on me .. but .. It is hard to see him as a starter ... IMO .. unless a player is fairly awesome on offense .. you need BIGs to play great team, paint defending defense ...Personally .. I like players who play well on both sides of the court .. at least awesome on O or D at least if your team is going to have a chance at a RING .. And Sheed would look good along side Ben Wallace right now .. Kind of strange to see Ben Back .. playing great ... without R. Wallace there .. But I am positive on this team again .. Seeing Bynum and Stuck and Gordon .. and later Rip ... taht is a lot of SG! ... We should have kept Afflalo instead of trading him for nothing .. that way .. we have enough SGs to work out an feasible trade for a quality C/PF ... Are you taking notes JOE? Liking Coach K a bit more too now .. He is a big upgrade over Curry .. doing more with less .. Go Pistons ..

Is there anybody here who misses Sheed yet? All the complaints about his unwillingness to stay in the post, I get it. I agree that he needed to be moved. But who do we replace him with? Charlie "Bombs away" Villanueva, who is smaller than Sheed; and not only allergic to paint, but he is also apparently a defensaphobic. Wilcox sure looked a lot bigger, and more opposing, playing against us than for us.
All the negativity aside, if Bosch decides to stay in Toronto, their front-line of CB, Barn Yanni and Turkey Glue could do some major damage; possibly making some deep playoff runs. Without Bosch, they're the Detroit Pistons, without the 9 good SG's.
Gordon definately should come off the bench when Rip comes back. Mostly because he doesn't mind that role, and Rip or Stuck would throw a hissy fit if told they were no longer in the starting lineup.
The refs were horrible last night. On the same day that Donaghey was released from the Federal slammer. Hmmmmm..............
We need a trade or 3 to bring more balance to our roster, or we will not make the playoffs.

I believe with the 3 guard line-up being so successful that Prince is exposable. One of our 3 rookies can play SF when Stuckey is not. If that is the case, we will be running and gunning. I can think of a few bigs out there that will be available this summer that would go nicely with these 3...and be able to run with them:
Amare & Lee
Can you imagine:
Bynum
Gordon
Stuckey (combo)
Lee
Amare
Leaves
Daye/Jac/Summers, Kwame for larger teams if we want to switch it up.
Get it done Joe!

"Said it before and will say it again. Lee is really underrated and undervalued playing for the Knicks. Joe D picked CV and CW over Lee this summer. He will have another chance,"
You've said it and I believe you've been told before that Joe didn't choose those two over David Lee. Lee signed for $7 million, same as Charlie. Joe could've easily signed Lee for that amount instead but it would've been a 2 week waste of time because New York was matching EVERYTHING up to $10 million. The question is would you had wanted Joe to pay Lee $10 million/year. I love dude to death but since he's limited offensively and really provides no lowpost scoring in the half-court I couldn't see paying him that much. Even though I just LOVE that guy as a player.

David Lee (Knicks) signed a one year deal for this season but is looking for a long term contract. He's 26, 6'9", 240 lb. Forward-Center. So far this season he's averaged 19 ppg, 10 reb, and 2.2 assists. Tonight against the Pacers he scored 20 pts, 19 reb, 4 assists.
Tonight Piston Charlie V. scored 16 pts, 9 reb, 0 assists. Wilcox scored 1 pt, 3 reb. 0 assists.
