***T-MAC 4 TAY LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN***

I think we would HAVE to get off of both contracts in order to get Tmac's salary here. I didn't research it, but Tmac is getting paid. I do know his contract is up after the 09-10 season, but I'm pretty sure we won't have room contract wise on our roster unless Rip is part of a Tmac deal.

***T-MAC 4 TAY LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN***

*** MICHIGAN FOOTBALL SUCKS...

* OK ((GUM))... your right on it but with T-mack Injuries I woundnt give Rip & Tay for T-mac.

*** NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT - MAYBE THIS IS THE ONLY WAY JOE COULD PULL OFF THIS TRADE / BY HAVING RIP & TAY FAKE THEIR INJURIES ...so we wont cry about trading Tay & Rip for a broke down T- Mac.... OOOH NO SAY IT AINT SO JOE.

*** NOTE TO THIS WHOLE FOURM ... WE ALL HAVE PLAYED SOME TYPE OF SPORT .... IT DONT TAKE 2 MONTHS TO COME BACK FROM A ANKEL INJURY....SOMETHING GOING ON...

Ralph Lauren Debut New Affalo Fragrance - Afolo

I said "Getting a player like Tmac will force Joe's hand to make a final decision on Stuck's ability to lead this team in the future. Does Joe want to deal with that pressure?"

Wise siad "I don't think Joey would have a problem with that since he already determined Stuckey's Combo Guard status, but it would put pressure on him to get a true PG"

Ummm, Wise? I said 'Stuck's ability to lead this team...meaning his ability to run PG, meaning it would put pressure on him to get a true PG. Not to knit pick, but I think you missed my point, then confirmed my point by what you said. lol

Maxiell's extension has already kicked in NimRod. Try to keep up.

Free Agency 2010

Yeah but when Kwame comes off JMax 5 a season kicks in. Does this leave us a mil short and only with the MLE and I can smell them keeping Big Ben on for another season maybe.

Free Agency 2010

Player, you forgot Kwame Brown.

Yes, Kwame Brown has a 4 mil expiring contract.

Combined with the MLE, we could uprade that position to around 9 mil.

Interesting, no?

FLY DOG OF THE CAPE,

FlyDog, your right WE should have gotten something in return for Budinger. I, too, thought it was a great pick-up with the 46th pick (if not I'm mistaken), but to then draft him for cash was dumb.

Now, if Joe would have packaged him and Amir to Houston on Draft Night for Carl Landry, then that would have been smart.

But,agreed, to have traded Budinger for "cash considerations" was straight-up dumb and also, a question that Joe has never answered.

WE have got to get a win tonight!

DETROIT BASKETBALL for 48 minutes, please!!!

Free Agency 2010

First up, we have the three young studs from the legendary draft class of 2003. These three have 'Player Option clauses' in their current contracts which, if declined, would allow them to become unrestricted free-agents on July 1, 2010 (in parentheses are the monetary values of the contracts they are owed under their current contracts):

LeBron James (owed 17.2 million in 10/11)

Dwayne Wade (owed 17.0 million in 10/11)

Chris Bosh (owed 17.1 million in 10/11)

This next grouping consists of those players that are signed thru 2011, but have Early Termination Options (slightly different from Player Options) and can also opt out in 2010 if they so choose:

Amar'e Stoudemire (owed 17.7 million in 10/11)

Dirk Nowitzki (owed $21.5 million in 10/11)

Paul Pierce (owed $21.5 million in 10/11)

Yao Ming (owed 17.7 million in 10/11)

Mike Redd (owed $18.3 million in 10/11)

Tyson Chandler (owed $12.8 million in 10/11)

Next are the notable names who do not have options in their deals and whose current contracts expire following the 2009-2010 season, which means they will become honest-to-goodness unrestricted free agents:

Joe Johnson

Ray Allen

Manu Ginobili

Marcus Camby

Tracey McGrady

Brad Miller

Jermaine O'Neal

Mike Miller

Shaquille O'Neal

There are also a slew of stars whose contracts are set to expire in the summer of 2010; but they have opt-out clauses following the 2008-2009 season which they may choose to exercise, thus taking them off the market a year early:

Steve Nash (owed $13.1 million in 09-10)

Carlos Boozer (owed $12.7 million in 09-10)

Memo Okur (owed $9.0 million in 09-10)

Hedo Turkoglu (owed $7.4 million in 09-10)

In addition to the stars listed above, these 'second-tier' players, a mix of experienced veterans and rising youngsters, are set to hit the open market in 2010 as well:

Udonis Haslem

Zydrunas Ilgauskas (option to opt-out prior to 2010)

Anderson Varejao (option to opt-out prior to 2010)

Al Harrington (option to opt-out prior to 2010)

Ben Wallace

T.J. Ford (player option for '10-'11, owed 8.5 million)

Jamal Crawford (option to opt-out prior to 2010)

Richard Jefferson (ETO)

Amir Johnson

Raja Bell

Jerry Stackhouse

Peja Stojakovic (ETO)

Josh Howard (*Mavs have a Team Option for $11.8 million in 10/11)

John Salmons (ETO)

Travis Outlaw

Rafer Alston

Luis Scola (restricted)

Roger Mason

Chris Duhon

We should also list some talent from the Draft Class of 2006. Unless they sign extensions over the next 16 months, these players will all be restricted free-agents in 2010. With all the teams that are working to clear cap-space, a franchise may be willing to throw plenty of cash at one of these players if they strike out on landing a stud FA:

Brandon Roy

Rudy Gay

LaMarcus Aldridge

Andrea Bargnani

Rajon Rondo

Tyrus Thomas

Kyle Lowry

Randy Foye

Josh Boone

Renaldo Balkman

Sergio Rodriguez

Ronnie Brewer

Jordan Farmar

And we should also include those players from the 2005 Draft Class that have yet to sign long-term deals. Chances are most of these guys will get locked up this summer, but if any of them sign one-year qualifying offers, they'll hit the market as unrestricted FA's in twenty-ten:

David Lee

Marvin Williams

Raymond Felton

Hakim Warrick

Nate Robinson

Jarrett Jack.

Linas Kleiza

Last but not least, we'll round out the complete list of players that will become free-agents in 2010. (Some of these names will have value due solely to the fact that their contracts come of the books at the right time):

Joel Przybilla (ETO)

Larry Hughes

Eddy Curry (option to opt-out prior to 2010)

Quentin Richardson

Carl Landry (Team Option)

Chuck Hayes (Team Option)

Rasual Butler

Bruce Bowen

Earl Watson

Luke Ridnour

Matt Harpring

Derek Fisher

Speedy Claxton

Brian Scalabrine

Tony Allen

Patrick O'Bryant

Anthony Roberson

Randolph Morris

Sasha Pavlovic

Antoine Wright

Steven Hunter

Anthony Marrow (restricted)

Brent Barry

Marquis Daniels (Team option for '09-'10)

D.J. Mbenga

Chucky Atkins

Kelenna Azubuike (Player Option)

Darko Milicic

Dorell Wright

Yakhouba Diawara

Mark Madsen

Craig Smith

Dominic McGuire (restricted)

Kurt Thomas

Francisco Oberto

Antonio Daniels

Jerome James

Brendan Haywood

Tony Battie

Anthony Johnson

Tim Thomas

Brian Cardinal

Damien Wilkins

Mark Blount

Bobby Simmons

Kenny Thomas

Matt Bonner

Etan Thomas

Getting a player like Tmac will force Joe's hand to make a final decision on Stuck's ability to lead this team in the future. Does Joe want to deal with that pressure?

I don't think Joey would have a problem with that since he already determined Stuckey's Combo Guard status, but it would put pressure on him to get a true PG, but a healty TMac puts us instantly into the second round and most importantly eliminates that darn 3 guard line up.

Biillips 1-5; Afflalo 1-4; Sheed 4-16

P-Boy say's...I think Boston is an old team LA Piston. I just can not see Boston making it through 82 games, and 3 ball bussing rounds of NBA playoff games with 35 year old cats still being healthy at the end.

In the NBA, around 33, is when the body starts to give out and that is if you are lucky! Paul is 32, Ray is 34, KG is 33, 3Sheed is like a 100.

PhillipBoy I'm glad you threw in that disclaimer at the end of your post. Rip will be 32 in a few months, and look at Big Ben at 35 and this guys can still get it done. Experience wins out most times and a 33 year old KG and a 32 year old Paul not really a factor and really not that old. I think this Boston team know that all it need to do is finish in any of the top 4 spots and they're okay, no need for them to come out like Gnag Busters so early. They know they're a little long in the tooth but they got young guys on that team that's been to the big dance. I think the only one that's really showing age is Ray Allen and Sheed not asking to do a lot with 20 minutes a game. Hey if we were to added a 32 year old Paul and a 33 yesr old KG too our roster with BG, CV and Stuckey you and I both would be screming Finals here we come....Right?

Sat. 11/21/09 12:13 PM

Jenna Jameson Screams,

He's playing FS?!? I'm gonna go pick up the Broncos D right now! Where can I pick up the movie? Also, I want the Afflalo 2010 Kobe stoppers, do they got those at Eastland?

Jenna Jameson Screams,"No Mas!" To Afflalo In Upcoming Film

GUM- Yeah, that was a stupid rumor. It's common knowledge that he's too valuable at Free Safety to return kicks. Pure blasphemy!

T-MAC 4 TAY LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN

That would be a good move to get T-mac. The Rockets are playing around with him right now. I would get off Rip AND Tay for Tmac. If that happened, we would get to see what Stuckey can do without a doubt as a floor leader. Right now, when he plays point, he will take some bad shots, but in his eyes, they could be better shots than if he passed to JJ. Getting a player like Tmac will force Joe's hand to make a final decision on Stuck's ability to lead this team in the future. Does Joe want to deal with that pressure?

Fly & Wise- You need to get off Afflalo's jock! I spent a week straight trying to see where you two were getting your information. Afflalo isn't going to returning kickoffs for the Broncos! Liars! lol

I think Boston is justs to old to match the energy that Orlando, and Atlanta can toss at them in 7 Playoff games. Even the Cavs are younger then the Celtics.

But I could be wrong!
