The head of Planned Parenthood has a piece in the Freep today. It is a big lie. This extremists in her mendacious attack on Rep. Stupak blurs his amendment as taking away private health insurance abortions. Nothing can be more false. Stupak has said many times in interviews that he has no problem with woman who have private health insurance getting abortions under their coverage. What his amendment says is that no federal monies can be used for this procedure. It was Pelosi and company who tried to undermine the Hyde Amendment and allow federally paid abortions in Congress's health care bill. The likes of Lamerand will only be content when abortion is paid for by the federal government. As of now that is illegal. That is why abortion under any public option should be banned and private plans have the abortion option.
Lamerand's unconscionable spin shows at what length extremists will go to kill in innocent.

The director of Britain's leading University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit, Phil Jones, has told Investigate magazine's TGIF Edition tonight ..."It was a hacker. We were aware of this about three or four days ago that someone had hacked into our system and taken and copied loads of data files and emails."
What follows is a series of e mails from scientists at Climate Research detailing considerable damning evidence that data have been hidden or destroyed to avoid Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) data requests. Data have been manipulated in order to get results that best suit the pro-anthropogenic global warming agenda of the IPCC; e-mails that contain incriminating discussions are being deleted.
This all just broke today so it's very early in the process to say for sure everything is true. But if it is,and I really hope the msm stays ontop of this story,it could be the nail the GL crowd have been tyring to avoid. This could be huge.

Why would Newsweek do this?
On the cover of this week's issue of Newsweek is a photo that was shot exclusively for the August 2009 issue of Runner's World, in which Sarah Palin was featured on the monthly "I'm a Runner" back page. The photos from that shoot are still under a one-year embargo, and Runner's World did not provide Newsweek with its cover image. It was provided to Newsweek by the photographer's stock agency, without Runner's World's knowledge or permission.

Why are dems always so eager to bring her up and talk about her? That tells me and many others they fear her. Fear he ability to touch something people that makes them stir. On Friday 13 William 'Cold Cash' Jefferson was sentenced to 13 years in the federal pen on on 11 counts of corruption.
The democrat,as we all know,had $90,000 in his freezer. The jury had found Jeffersom (D) guilty of 11 of 16 counts.
The New Orleans Democrat's six-week trial,found that from 2000 to 2005 Mr. Jefferson sought hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes from companies involved in oil, sugar, communications and other businesses, often for projects in Africa. In return, prosecutors said, he used his post on the House Ways and Means trade subcommittee to promote the companies' ventures without disclosing his own financial interests in the deals.
9/11 Trials
We have,and still are told, by many on the left how Guantomino Bay is a recruitment tool for terrorists leaders. So how is putting these dirtbags in a different federal prison any different? How is putting them on trial and using capitol punishment any different? If anyone thinks that by using a public trial is going to appease any body thinking of going the terrorist rout to stop and suddenly think America is ok is nuts! Military tribunal is the way to go here,the only way. This whole recruitment tool argument has always been weak.
Stimulus Bill

As I said getting an uemployement check is hardly the same as a pay check. Would you spend as you do now if you were only getting unemployement CW? No your going to pay bills and keep the heat on. Your not going to drop a couple hundred at the super market and then go buy new cloths or something else that you want. CW you must understand that economists do not run for anything. They cannot win or lose. They can be right or wrong and that has nothing to do with their politics. Heck even Paul Krugman has been critical of the stimulus. You refuse to be due to your politics. I don't recall you sticking up for Bush when he put a stimulus bill into law.
This administration touted private sector job creation and slowing the unemployment rates as reason to get behind this stimulus bill. Neither has occured and therefore it is subject to questions and criticism. Not to mention that the same high risk derivatives market trading that got us into this mess is still going on today with the Obama administration's blessing makes people wonder if anything has changed.
