Kilpatrick Loans-

This whole thing is one big lie. Everyone involved in this scam should be banned from doing any business with the City of Detroit. Kilpatrick should be charged with the violation of probation and remain in jail until restitution is made. Kilpatrick is a proven lier,is laughing at the criminal justice system. Get this over with.

Kilpatrick-Cox-Green Fall Out

Kilpatrick is now a dead duck (good). Cox mis-judged this investigation favoring the previous dead duck. Cox is now a dead duck for Govenor (good). HASAN THE TERRORIST

Who should be blamed for the terrorist action at Ft. Hood. I say the Army. I ask, why didn't the Army know of this terrorists thinking when it seems a lot of people knew he was a bad person. What is it about the culture in the Army or in Washington that let this muslim continue to demonstrate his open hate for America without someone blowing the whistle or taking action against this terrorist. Opp's, I think my discription might be politically incorrect in Washngton's new and revised definition If he wanted out of the Army why didn't an investigation result in a Section 8 discharge. His background has all the earmarks of a terrorist. It seems Army Brass needs to see a psychiatrist, an American Psychiatrist. I think it all starts in Washington, where a serious attitude adjustment or change in leadership must take place. Radical thinking, I hope so. These are radical times where American values ae being destroyed.

Lawmakers Paid Vacations

Shame on these lawmakers who continue to feed at the public trough. With the terrible economy in Michigan it makes you wonder what these lawmakers are thinking. They are so full of themseves that they think they are entitled to squander taxpayers money. If the so called trips were so important to their doing their job then they should repay their expenses as thats what they are paid to do. No, you can bet your sweet bippey that they will convince themselves that the public are the beneficiaries of these boondoggles. A I said, shame on these uncaring bottom feeders.

Berman Doesn't Get It

Why is this women writing for the Detroit News. She isn't selling any newspapers. Can't she see that Kwame is just lying through his teeth. If you believe anything about what the Kilpatricks say then I have a bridge(Brooklyn or Ambassador) to sell you. I don't know is a code word for "go fly a kite". Sheltering or hiding income along with lying is the order of business at the Kilpatricks home. Both belong in jail for conspiracy. Soon the Green case will bring Carlita into focus. Kwames business pals need to come clean.

Michigan Income Tax

Should Michigan increase the State Income Tax it would force many current residents, who have another choice, to move to another state. The State of Florida has no income tax. What would Granholm expect? We would be" blown away " to a more friendly atmosphere.

Kilpatrick Loans

I don't believe one word of what is being said about loans being made to the dishonorable former Mayor. The business leaders making these loans know full well they will never be repaid. Guess the "gifts" were made as loans to avoid paying gift taxes. Anyone hiring Kilpatrick has some unknown reason for doing so. The crap that these loans were made to entice Kilpatrick to resign puts in question the intelligence of these so called business leaders. It was only a matter of time before Kilpatrick would be kicked out of office so why the loans. This guy is an embarrasment to Detroit and anyone with an ounce of brains knows he is an immoral person who is filled with lies and contempt. There must be some criminal reason for these loans.

What else would you expect from terrorists from the prison system who are mentally defective to begin with.

Mayor Bing's new vehicle

What's the big deal. The Mayor needs a vehicle- period ! The problem is that Detroit spends to much time picking the fly crap out of the pepper. There are so manny serious problems in Detroit that no one knows where to start and the citizens don't care. Most likely they don't understand the situation or the issues.

Old Detroit

Berman still doesn't get it. Trying hard to bash old Detroit but doesn't have the real facts. I lived in Detroit and she apparently didn't. At least the description she trys to paint is a complete odds with reality. Detroit has always been a working mans town. If you knew the City there were better places than she attempts to desribe. Hundreds of fine place to eat like Carls Chop House, Cliff Bells, and other great places such as Eastwood Gardens, Bell Isle. Boblo, Kerns, Hudsons, Grinnels, Michigan Theater, Fox, etc.I lived in the area of the purple gang but that didn't make Detroit any different than Chicago or New York. I think she spent to much time at the Roxy, the Avenue and the Empress. I know the Old Detroit and she doesn't. She is painting a complete distortion of a former "American Gem." The Detroit News would better be served by the former DETROIT TIMES. I sold newspapers at 12th and Seward and knew Detroit before it lost it's luster
