Rather than blaming the Republicans and Bush for GM's (and Chrysler's pending bankruptcy), you only need to look at the Det News featured article regarding Consumer Reports regarding reliability, and see that GM and Chrysler continue to be near or at the bottom. And by the way, the financial crisis we are in was caused by the housing collapse. And this is a result of Democrats forcing banks to offer loans to people who had no business getting a mortgage.The Bush administation tried for almost 3 years to get oversight to Freddie Mac and Fannie May. You know who lead the charge against this in the Senate? Barney Frank, Chris DOdd, and of course, Barack Obama.
