Earlier today I asked if any of the Democrats who post here, specifically an 24/7 poster calling himself Celtic Warrior if they would provide an affirmative explanation of why they support the Obama agenda.
I was looking for some specifics about if programs like the stimulus and bailout worked. Or why unemployemnt and bankruptcies continue to rise. I would really like to know the Democrats economic theory of how printing and spending massive amounts of money will reduce the debt and growing deficit. How about the rationale of how the Tax and Spend Climate Control, advocated by Al Gore, will accomplish anything other than creating more unemployment and higher costs? I'd like to know their thoughts about Pelosi's gargantuan Health Care Bill that includes plans for gutting the Medicare budget and will require rationing of services.
I did not receive a single civil answer from even a single Democratic supporter of the Obama administration.
I did hear from Refractometer who suddenly started posting around the first of this month but whose writings are reminicent of another frequent poster. He suggested "that my original post was vitriolic and provocative" and was the reason for Celtic Warrior's lack of response.
Refractometer could have answered the question I posed but he fancies himself to be a one line quipster and raconteur when not busy sharing John Lennon lyrics. I have no idea how many comments he posts daily but I'll bet he has take the lead away from Celtic Warrior.
Celtic Warrior's reply to my request for his support of Obama was a mish mash of garbled mumbles and grumbles about Bush, Cheney, the GOP and moonbat materials. He concluded by telling me to Park it where the sun don't shine. Class always manifests itself doesn't it.
Evidently the Obama base has no idea why their leader is doing what he does and are unable to provide any rational explanations. Could it be because Obama has no idea or explanation for what he is doing either? But I thought for sure there would be at least some of his supporters would at least attempt to explain and defend. Nope. Not a one. I can't say I'm surprised.
How do you explain the unexplainable or defend the indefensible? Even liberal democrats shouldn't be held to impossible standard.
Celtic Warrior + Obana Supporters
Whenever I happen to take the time to see what readers are commenting about I'm amazed at the frequency of posts by a select few.
I can understand that some who are retired substitute forum posting in lieu of their former career. Then there are a select few like Celtic Warrior who has nothing going except for a cyber life existence. Most of that time is devoted to attacking and insulting anyone who disagrees with Liberals in general and Obama in particular. There are a few others who share his identicle thoughts and opinions. They even use the same verbiage.
I'd be interested in hearing from Celtic Warrior and any of his like minded allies speak in the affirmative about what Obama and the Democrats are doing and why they support it.
For example. My personal view is that Obama's handling of the economy, debt and deficit is a complete failure. I'm also concerned about rising unemployement, home foreclosures and government takeovers of failing businesses.
I'd like to hear why they support Obama and his Democratic majority in congress in letting our military twist in the wind while they are preoccupied with social issues like health reform and climate change.
I know why I'm against these polices. Rather than just attack me for my views I'd like to hear why Celtic Warrior and his friends explain why they are for the actions, decisions and strategy of the Obama administration.
Its a great morning...to be a Conservative
Amen.
It's the beginning of the end for the spenders, lenders, offenders, pretenders and gender benders at the Washington Zoo.
the shriek of the victims
[Celtic Warrior, Grosse Pointe, MI] posts: It's incredibly tedious to keep reading nearly the exact same posts over and over and over from the sorelosers from last November, it never gets any better with repetition. Your side lost because they made a horrific mess of everything they touched, it was that toxic combination of arrogance and incompetence that did them in.
Don't have a dog in this fight Murphy but judging from Celtic Warrior's predictable reaction the Alinsky Rules are equally effective when used in either direction.
Michelle & Oprah make sacrifices for the kids...
In her speech in Copenhagen today, First Lady Michelle Obama said her trip to Denmark, along with the travel of her "dear friend" and "chit-chat buddy" Oprah Winfrey, as well as tomorrow's visit by President Obama, is a "sacrifice" on behalf of the children of Chicago and the United States. "As much of a sacrifice as people say this is for me or Oprah or the President to come for these few days," the first lady told a crowd of people involved in the Chicago project, "so many of you in this room have been working for years to bring this bid home."

Murphy got his Irish up
Murphy, first of all let me say I'm sorry to hear about the family dog. I lost two of mine this year at age 14. You know its going to happen but there is a deep sense of loss.
Sounds like Muddy Roads, the cat hater's comments set you off. I can understand how you feel.
Maybe you should run for the congress or senate or something. Then if you had the power to cast a vote, Muddy Roads would have to make an appointment with the Vet's whenever he wasn't feel well.
From one Irishman to another you always have to keep that Irish temper under control. That's what they are always telling me anyway.
The party is over, time to take off the mask(s)

The party is over, time to take off the mask(s)
I know he (they all) will deny it but Drew2 plays a game of posting under the different names of Celtic Warrior, monti, Grandpa George and Judas Priest. He tries to hide it by using different writing styles and pretending he is more independent than his other characters he uses.
He can't hide his socialist ideas because they bleed through his thinking no matter how much he tries to hide them. What gets real funny is when he starts using one of his role player characters to support or compliment something he said using another idenity.
Read the archives and you will find examples of Celtic complimenting Drew about his great post or wise ideas. Drew has invented his own 'amen' choir. Drew is not a dumb guy but he is not half as smart as he thinks he is if he thinks he has been fooling anybody.
Happy labor day to Drew and his imaginary crew.
O'Bummer Chronicles
Mike, Sounds like the Murphy clan had a Irish family fun-fest. Good for you all. Boyne country is about the closet you can get to heaven in Michigan.
Rep. Mike Ross from Arkansas gives me hope for the future of the Democratic Party. I come from a family of Democrats but in recent years the whacko extremists have taken over leadership. I'll vote for Ross anytime. I especially like his perspective on health reform. I agree that we need it but we need to do it in a fiscally responsible manner:
"I will not support a health care reform bill that is not deficit-neutral. Period," Ross told CNN Chief National Correspondent John King.
"I will not force government-run health care on anyone; if there ever is government-run health care, the first ones to sign up should be the president and every member of Congress, including myself; You should be able to keep the insurance you've got today if you like it and always choose your own doctor; no federal funding for illegal immigrants or for abortion; and no rationing of health care."
Emma from Royal Oak laments: "People who have most goods and needs often are not wont to share them or promote programs that will allow even the least among us to grow and prosper, just a bit, maybe."
Emma ... I doubt that your have ever visited a 3rd world country because then you would know what real poverty is all about. The great thing about America is that it offers "equal" opportunity. Too many want it to offer "equal" results. America spends more on social welfare programs and benefits than any other country in the world. Americans are among the most generous people in the world as evidenced by the endless number of public and private charities.
God did not create everyone equal as to their physical and intellectual capability. But the United States government has more then compensated by all types of rules, regulations and programs to establish a more level playing field. Heck, even a mixed race individual with a muslim influenced upbringing and extreme radical associates can aspire to and become President of the United States with the help of affirmative action.
Politicians not American Royalty
If health care needs to reform, and it does, then everyone should have the same choices. Someone should tell our politicians that "separate but equal" should have died along with "Jim Crow."
Are americans so politically polarized that they don't dare question or complain to their own leadership when they can see that they are being screwed over? How sad.
Is there only one political party in America now?
Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer, have written an opinion piece for today's USA Today. Did you know that Pelosi and Hoyer think that the protestors showing up at these townhall meetings are "un-American." They believe that these people show up not to express their concerns, but to "drown out" opposing views.
They're not worried about the crushing debt and huge budget deficits. They're not worried about the possible rationing of healthcare. Pelosi and Hoyer think that they just don't like Barack Obama or his health care plan, and so this makes them "un-American." Do all Democrats feel that to be an American you have to sheepishly accept any controls the government wants to inpose on you? To liberals there is only one political party in America. Democrats and "Un-Americans."
I know that Republicans have no say or power over the wretched execesses practiced by Obama and his fellow liberals. But aren't there any conservative politicians willing to stand up in defiance and opposition to Stalinistic type purges. Maybe they are afraid of the vicious and vile attacks against them if they are targeted. They saw what a bunch of low-lifes did to drive Sarah Palin out of office and try to destroy her family and reputation. But she has shown more courage and fortitude than any of the so called Republican leadership.
Maybe M. Murphy is on to something about the thirteen radicals rules Obama learned from Saul Alensky. I cannot recall ever seeing such evil tactics practiced in politics. Democrats are willing to do anything and everything to destroy all of their opposition. Even if it means using paid surrogate supporters and union Neandrethals to intimate and beat down men, women and seniors who stand in opposition.

I really don't pay much attention to the DNA, Nature and/or Nurture attributes of any person. I think guys like Bernie Madoff should be sharing a cell with Kwame Kilpatrick. To tell you the truth I personally believe that individuals who have been entrusted with great responsibility should be held to even higher standards with proportional punishment.
Was your reference to "Judge Waterstone and deputy prosecutor Plants trial and the New Jersey public corruption indictments" intended to suggest that I might be predisposed to minimize their guilt because of their race or ethnicity if convicted.
The short answer is 'Hell No!" I don't care in the least about how many "whites" are arrested or tossed in the slammer if they are guilty of a crime.
My sense of justice and my mind doesn't even make that a plausible or minor consideration. To be truthful, I'm surprised that you would even pose the question. Do you suspect the integrity, motives and sense of justice that most whites have toward crime.? If so, then I'm afraid we have a long ways to go before put racial differences aside.
Have a good day sir.
Racism in America
Sorry to 'Say...But ItIsn'tSoJoe'.
Unfortunately the knee-jerk reaction many blacks have is to become instantly defensive and confrontational when any type of incident involving a black person becomes news.
There is a black "circling of the wagons" mind-set. There are long and loud protests of bias, prejudice and discrimination without bothering to determine fact from fiction. Such was the case when Obama called the police stupid because Professor Gates was a black man and a friend of his. So is Jeremiah Wright and Elijah Mohammad.
If a white professor had been arrested by a black cop I can almost guarantee that it wouldn't have been deemed newsworthy by the national media, let alone having a white president call the cop stupid because he was a friend of the professor.
Far too many blacks hang on to an 'inferiority complex' about their color. Unfortunately they indoctrinate their children with this malady and passed along from one generation to the next. It becomes easy to blame others for their shortcomings and failures. Its never really their own fault.
Consider all of the lies, crimes, deceit, embezzelment and failures of the City of Detroit and Detroit Public School System. Blacks have had total control and management for decades. But to hear Monica Conyers and Kwame Kilpatrick tell it. Its all the fault of whites who wanted to see them fail.
Sorry Joe, but Professor Gates had only to comply with the request to produce his identification and this would have never have happened. Obama's comments didn't surprise me all that much because he made his negative feelings about white folks pretty clear in his books 'Dreams from My Father' and 'The Audacity of Hope.
Many blacks say that "White folks just don't get it". Sorry Joe, but now a lot of whites are saying that "Black folks just don't get it either".
And Obama calls the police stupid?
ATTENTION ALL BURGLARS
By Neal Boortz .... especially those who live in Cambridge, Mass., the home of Harvard University and, not coincidentally, Professor Henry Louis (You do realize I'm important and black, don't you?) Gates. Now I really don't think that it's cool to make your living breaking into folks houses and stealing their stuff. But, if that's the way it's going to be, you might as well choose your targets wisely.
Man ... do I have the house for you. The house is on Ware Street in Cambridge, Mass. The owner and presumably sole occupant of the house is none other than esteemed Harvard Professor Henry ("you don't know who you're messin' with) Gates. I can almost promise you that if you decide to burglarize Mr. Gates' home there isn't a Cambridge police officer who would respond to the call. You'll have pretty much a free shot at all of the professor's stuff until he gets home. At that time you'll have to endure a screaming tirade about "this is what happens to a black man in America" and that you are a "racist burglar."
Really, though, you'll probably be able to get away because you'll hear Professor Gates coming a mile away. They say he's somewhat loud.
When will CP, Muddy, Obama, Jackson, Sharpton wake up and realize the "Freedom Bus" arrived at the station a long time ago. They don't want to believe that not every slight, slur and insult is not always based on their color. They don't want to believe that most whites don't think of themselves as a collective "White Culture".
As a matter of fact everyone I know experiences some form of rudeness and/or discrimination in their daily lives. It could be because they are male, female, short, tall, ugly, fat, stupid, or because of their personality, attitude or the way they dress. It happens and will likely continue to happen. But it's rarely about just race anymore.
The sooner the brothers and sisters stop listening to the racist victim poverty pimps like Jackson, Sharpton, Rev. Wright and others, the sooner they will realize that forms of rudeness injustice and discrimination happens everyday to everyone. It isn't always about race. You've arrived at the destination. You can get off the bus now unless you are a masochist and enjoy sitting there in misery.
Sometimes, its all in the name...
RO -- You might be on to something. The initials 'BS' on new legislation does have a certain ironic poetic justice. However 'BO' smells just as bad. LOL
