Good Gawd! Can't please stop having this argument? Haven't the Voters of Michigan already made their opinion clear in this case? When will "No, mean No" for these whining special interest groups? Please just focus on somethng that will fix Michigan's employement woes, or do us a favor and leave.
Michigan does not allow gays to marry. If your drawers are in such an uproar about it move to someplace more "gay friendly".
Calling this a "civil rights" issue is a huge Red herring. If you allow gays to marry then you might just as well allow polygamy and inter-species nuptials as well. If we're all to be truly equal then let's make it so across the board.

While I do think it is unfair to keep some of these people on the list for what is essentially their entire productive life as a taxpayer (or user if they can't find work); If any 18 year old boy showed up at the door to see my daughter when she is only 14 there would be no need to ever prosecute him. I'd have already let my 1911 colt decide the case.
