If Kwame does not know where his wife works or what the rent is or who is paying it, then he is crazy (he really is anyway)! But if Kwame is not paying the rent, which is what he said, then that $2700/month he claims to have paid previously is money that can be given to the city of Detroit towards his 1 million dollar obligation. From what I can see, Kwame is lying like always and he is trying give the court and judge no financial information beyond what is on the statements he and his lawyer submitted for evidence. I hope Groner sends him to prison for violation of his probation and I am sure that Kwame's memory will improve quickly then. I will always know the bills of the household no matter who does the bills. You never know when something will happen to your spouse so you better know all the bills and know where the money is coming from.

Kwame Kilpatrick does not know how his wife handles financial matters? So if the Kilpatricks get evicted from their Texas home because Mrs. kilpatrick fails to pay rent, will Mr. Kilpatrick be sitting on the curb not understanding why? If Mrs. Kilpatrick 'money matters' include the grocery bill, does Mr. Kilpatrick not understand why Popsicles are (or are not) in the freezer or does he expect them to appear becuase he was 'made aware' of it? C'mon!

Unfortunately, this question does not include my situation. I know almost nothing of my wifes finances, nor does she know anything of mine. Although we've been separated for over 10 years now, we have always had reason to remain married (insurance and tax purposes, etc.). The question does not account for such circumstances.
