What's in a Name?

You have to wonder if "Karhonda" is any relation to Kartoyota, Karnissan, Karhyundai or Karkia? Probably just coincidence.

Selling Social Security numbers

"Between 2004 and 2006, the sisters sold their children's Social Security numbers to various tax filers who falsely claimed them as dependents, the complaint alleges."

Why didn't the IRS computer flag the tax forms that had identical social security numbers?

Anything over two usages would be a duplication. And the article cites 'various tax filers' meaning more than two.

Scaming has got to be punished. My sister-in-law knows a lady who has been involved in getting loans under the Stimulus Package in Detroit - it is a total scam and this lady wanted my sister-in-law to get in on it. My sister-in-law refused but the person in on the take said there was a group of people in Detroit in on it - it had to do with Small Business Start Ups. Anyway, for some people they will cheat any way they can. These people need to be exposed and punished - it's our tax money (everyone's money) that's being taken. If people are punished for their crimes - they and others will be less likely to offend. The give-me mentality has got to end. Also, there needs to be a lifetime limit on welfare (like 4 years or something) so that no one thinks welfare can be a way of life. There needs to be an incentive for training and education. A safety net should be just that - a temporary safety net and not a lifetime - that's something the Socialists never talk about - because they want to pay off people so they can keep getting re-elected, have their own gold-plated benefits and their high lifestyle while the people suffer (and pay for it all).

It seems the closer we get to people to clean the City up the further away we become. These people be them of whatever heritage are just looking for ways to cheat and profit from it. They should maybe have a branding placed on there forehead for all to see what they did, then when they show up at a tax payer give away, you know the Obama stash things, they will be turned away, not to ever get a thing from the tax payers again.

It won't really do any good to prosecute these two mothers. Taxpayers will pay for their jail time and will probably have to support 7 children. Make them do about 500 hours of community service! Detroit has many areas that need to be cleaned up, so let the taxpayers in Detroit get something back. Where are the fathers of these kids? They can take resonsibilty for their children while the mothers are working off their debt.

For sale to the highest bidder!

And why would we expect anything less? I'm sure these two have been chowing down at the putlic trough and by extension living of the honest labor of the Michigan Taxpayers for all their lives.
