Palin Go away

I'm not so sure Hef & the rest of us would really want to see her with her clothes off.

But she could do Tide commercials, or maybe a guest appearance on Paula Deen's cooking show.

CyberSurvey: Take California prisoners?

Do you have any idea how many Mexican gang members are in those California prisons?

And, when they are set free....will they release them into the Michigan population, creating a population high in criminals with no jobs.(remember repeat offender rates are high)

Sounds like a REALLY BAD thing to do.

Karl Malden

He played a great 'bad guy' in 'Nevada Smith' and 'One-Eyed Jacks'...very hateable.

Very likeable in Streets of San Francisco.

And as General Omar Bradley in 'Patton' he was a soft, old, tiger cub.

Such a great character actor...he deserved to live 97 years!

Sarah Palin bails as Governor of Alaska

When the going gets tough, the not-so-tough get going - even when it means bailing on the very folks who put her in office. Palin can't take the heat, so it's time for her to get out of the kitchen. This airhead doesn't give a hoot about the people of Alaska: She'd rather leave them hanging while she seeks fame and fortune on cable TV, most likely, because spewing venoumous rhetoric is about all she's good for.

I was on the fence during the 2008 election until the day that McCain announced that Palin would be on the ticket. What was he thinking? I hope that McCain realizes now what a stupid move this was for him and his party.

Alaska Gov. Palin to resign, but gives no details of her future plans

Sarah Palin is not presidential material and never will be. She is wasting her time and ours. She needs to get out of politics and stay home with her handicapped baby and her unwed daughter. She is a great person and very intelligent and she means well, but like that old commercial stated: Who would you want to be picking up the White House phone at 3 AM? The other countries would chew her up and spit her out. This latest action shows she is not sure of herself.

CyberSurvey: Curbing violence

If control of the streets rests in the hands of the dopeman and his crew of armed teenage thugs, then residents will not be safe anywhere within it. This is not an isolated incident. This is not a school violence issue. This is all about unchecked narcotics trafficking by neighborhood gangs known to the police. This is about a police department that has been failing to enforce the law for years. Its time to cut to the chase now. The bullets will be flying again soon.

Mayor Bing's firing of Chief Barren ...

How could you possibly have thought electing a former Basketball player was going to solve all Detroit's problems of corruption, nepotism, graft, theft, and incompetence?

Now, Robert Bobb is starting to look good in 2010, eh?

Fishermen found alive

Happy their alive.

But send 'em the bill for the search & rescue.

Next time you're in an auto accident & EMS takes you to the hospital YOU'LL get a bill for the entire incident...if any road signs are damaged by your vehicle you'll get billed for replacement of those as well.

Mayor Bing's firing of Chief Barren ...

Mayor Bing's decision to relieve Chief Barren of his duties is a major disappointment, and will be (yet) another blow to the Detroit Police Department and the citizens alike.

Dr. Barren's esteemed career as a police officer, police supervisor, and command officer, is without blemish.

To Mr. Bing: The classification system of 'homicide' vs. 'non-homicide' (for the purpose of under-reporting the actual homicide rate) has been utilized for many years, and NOT the creation of former police chief, Dr. James Barren. (Do your homework, Mr. Bing!)

Concerned citizens hope, Mr. Bing, that you fill those key City positions carefully. Failure to do so may cause voters to express themselves in the voting booth, OR ... with a moving van.

Yours for a better Detroit!

Palin

TOM, and you voted for a Community Organizer? He can identify problems, hasn't fixed one yet. And the worst is yet to come. Have a good 4th and I hope you feel FREE.

Whatever Works (Woody Allen movie)

Woody Allen makes a film about a teenage hottie who falls in love with a neurotic, insecure man who is old enough to be her grandfather. How Allen keeps coming up with these original ideas for films is a mystery to me!

New police chief, maybe

Bing lied, big deal, they all do. Never thought I would see another white man in Detroit politics. Maybe things will get back to order now. The whole city needs to be investigated for corruption by somebody that can be trusted, whoever that might be. Might have to call in the United Nations, that would be a joke.

mirrabelle

I have never met you (and never want to) but I would never throw a pass ..... in your direction. A stick maybe. But you would probably think I wanted to play a game of fetch.

You lips move ..... but you don't have anything to say. You post your thoughts ..... but the page is still empty.

Little people like to tear down big people because they somehow think that makes them bigger.

So return in peace to your atheist forum where you can lie in wait with the rest of the pack you run with for those unsuspecting christians who wander there by accident to share fellowship.

As far as Palin goes she will always be ten times the intellect, achiever and decent person than you can ever hope to be. I'm sure she would never debase herself to your level.

So take your prozac and go to bed. Pleasant dreams mirrabelle. Don't let the bed bugs bite.
