I was thinking maybe the Cardinals also. Warner went down in the second quarter today with another concussion I think. If that is what it is, he may be done. A Cardinals team with Matt Lineart at the helm is not a good team. It is possible for the lions to win another game or two. I still am not counting on it at this point in time.

Who are the other two teams you hope we can beat buckeyes1. Congrats on the Big Ten title.

correction

I see that Monatana did not do well in his rookie season. My bad. I guess I was thinking of Joe Montanya.

Speaking of golf

I might just have to get a round in this Thanksgiving Break. As long as that temp stays above 50, I think I will. I used to go out as low as 40, but I guess my knees and ankles just don't appreciate the temps like they used to.

As for Dizon, I can't say. I simply don't see enough of him to make a definitive assessment of him. He may belong to that group, I did consider him.

Thanks for the credit Klatuu. One correction: I wasn't saying that there are 17 guys who are great starters. There are probably only 10 or so that I would say are worthy of starting for a lot of teams. But I do believe there are 17 or so that are good enough to lead us into greener pastures.

On another note: I believe that Joe Montana and John Elway won in their first season while going to the playoffs. Supertone was for the most part right.

Lions beat Browns

The second pick is good. It will save us a few bucks and still get what we need. We will have our pick of Okung, Mays, or Suh. Personally I say we get Mays. He is fast, big and hits very hard. At 6-3 230 that is a big safety. And boy would Delmas and Mays go a long ways.

will this comeback win lead to something good.?

I believe it was, son. Weren't they called the bees or hornets?

will this comeback win lead to something good.?

Well, maybe this was you anyway. I saw a game in '91 where this center went up against a 300 lb plus nosetackle and made him look silly. If I remember right, the press guide said he was giving up about 80 lbs. and yet he must have pancaked him three or four times. I gotta say that was the most dominant exhibition of whoop arse I have ever seen on any level in my entire life. Was that you?

Well said Supertone44. Hey did you play football in Reed City back around 1990? If so you didn't wear number 44 did you?

Turkey Day

First, let me say that I do not believe the lions will win on Thursday. But I do have a feeling that our boys will put up a good fight. Of course, that all depends on the status of Mr. Stafford. Has anybody heard about his health? I will reserve the prediction of the score for later this week, but I can't help but believe that the game will be close for a good portion of the game. Stay tuned...

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.
