Lions
As the game was blocked out, and the Lions are already mathematically eliminated from having a winning season let alone make the playoffs, I didn't get to see this game.
It took several last moment events, pass interference, etc etc, but in the end, the Lions did what they should have, they actually won at home against an equally struggling team.
Stafford has 5 touchdowns and 400 yards, and nearly didn't finish the game. Still a win is a win and a loss is a loss.
Albeit, its only the second win compared to 8 losses.
?? Are you serious Matt ??
What utter nonesense...
Matt's job was simply to tell Ford of old football tales of how he was so sucessful playing back in the day.
As to spending any time or delegating it so that he can simply put in a piss poor effort with minimal involvement and most of the year spent either smoking something weird or drinking too much can be the only explanation as if someone actively tried to mess up a team could not have done a better job at messing things up.
Matt was a flipping moron... he wouldn't put in the necessary time nor would he listen to the advice of others.
Matt was Matt... and the results speak for themselves.
Who would have known that Matt would make Wayne Fontes look like a football genius, and Bobby Ross a super genius.
Bad news Bad reporting Bad predictions Bad advice
HMMMM I could have sworn a few days ago... somebody at the news was predicting and recommending that you place your bets on the Lions... that they were the lock to win versus the rams. Something about pawning your stuff and places the bet that the lions would actually win.
The Det news got that right, not !!
Typically the Det news gets it wrong, just like they get most of the stories wrong... like how Swame's wife is now in charge... what a joke...
or how a hundred muslim turn up for that idiots funeral.
Keep up the good bad reporting and story remaking.
Plax going to prison
The only thing more stupid than this guy losing his gun and having it discharge into his leg, was the fact that he could have early on pleaded his (guilt) stupidity and could have only served most likely thirty or so days in jail, had he listened to his counsel and quickly pleaded a deal.
But no, he felt he was some big shot and disregarded his attorneys advice and left it to a grand jury who followed the letter of the law.
The reason being, Plax did not want to spend any time in jail.
Well guess what, we now have to baby sit this fool for 24 months.
Good old Roy "glad hes gone" Williams
Kudos to that defensive back who put him on his @ss.
Poor optimus prime will have to practice pointing first down on the sidelines.
He was so annoying when he was playing in Detroit, when all he did was fall down after the catch and than point first down after he got tackled.
Looks like he'll be on the shelf.
Thank you Dallas for taking this guy off our hands.
Kudos for them also taking that bum worthless q-b we also had ~ I can't remember his name ?
