Tooth pain
A guy my the name of Fran Talkinton had several teeth knocked out by the Lions defense in a game in old Tiger Stadium. Fran returned in the second half to finish the game.
In this day and age an infected tooth causes this rookie to say I can't play at last minute causing a lost defensive back. This is the difference between a winning QB and the losing rookie DB.
Chad Johnson
I am glad this lose NUT does NOT play for Detroit Lions.
I feel sorry for this little staved for attention Chad ...
Chad if you ever played up to your ability shut your mouth and become a professional football player people would enjoy what you might be able to accomplish.

Matt Millen
This poor loser Millen should be dagged through the city of Detroit streets by his boots. The only CEO of NFL football who knew and still does not know anything about rebuilding an NFL tean with a PLAN. Matt Millen still does not understand any thing about the rules of the NFL period. Matt is just a plain Joe the plumber NFL analyst who should not be paid over $100 per game.
The big loser now is the TV network that pays Millen for his time.
Offensive Lineman
Dominic has been more of the problem then the solution on solid blocking lineman. Dominic is under-size for center position period. The winning of any team starts with a good offensive and defensive line period.
Some day soon I pray the head coach of Lions will wake up a realize hey we need lineman to block open up holes for running backs. The defensive coach needs to reflect on the improvement of his lineman as well.
The other JOE average Quarterback, running backs and wide recievers who can catch and hang on to passes will improve the LIONS. This is not any thing magical just the facts of football.
POOR Millen
The Detroit Lion fans will never forget nor forgive what this ex - football player did with the Lion organization.
The Ford family should have fired this idiot after second season of no plan football re-building effort.
Matt Millen does NOT even know the rules of the NFL . I do not know why ESPN wasted money on some idiot like Millen.
Matt if you understand anything NO NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE NEW DETROIT LIONS WITH A PLAN TO RE-BUILD THEIR TEAM.

Oh poor Chicago Bear linebacker Bryan Urlanker out for the season. Hey Bryan a real NFL All-Star would suck it up and continue to play. The age factor is there.
Same OLD Lions of 2008
The head coach and all other coaches should take two full days of practicing how to tackle. What a poor example of an NFL team down by 20 points with 8:46 left in first quarter .
If this is an example of the improved LIONS they might win one or two games tops with this poor performance of professional players. I thought football players learned how to tackle in high school. The head coach lost this game as he never had the Lions up to play a game of football. Remember last week Green Bay Packers beat this same Browns 17 to ZIP. It is going to be another LONG losing season I am afraid.
Too bad we Lion fans were looking for improvement.

LIONS have Enough QB's
If the new coaches believe Culpepper is a starter let it be. Dan O. is NOT a franchisee quarterback nor a starter just a backup QB if than at all. Lions should let him go.
Lions Need Lineman
The new re-building LIONS need offensive and defensive lineman first. Then linebackers all 3 positions open plus four secondary players on defense.
Then the offensive line needs at least a guard and tackle plus good backup center. Then the LIONS need two Tight Ends that can block and catch a football with ease. The balance like QB, RB, FB, WR are some what there.
The LIONS need at least twenty players that can step up in their game as starters from college draft and/or trades.
I hope the new coaches address 90% of the LIONS needs and we will win at least 7 or 8 at the most games in 2009.

QB Culpepper
If the Lions think this old rag arm injury quarterback Culpepper is the answer it will be another zero wins.
The Detroit Lions need someone to find a franchise quarterback which currently the Lions do not have on their team.
