Real football should be played by the Lions....and not just other NFL teams, indoors or outdoors

thanks for the kind words. I was starting to slide over to the dark side.:) For what it's worth, Andy said this is a crucial game in the Lions turnaround. Let's hope so. Has Andy ever been wrong?

Should we expect Thomas n Mack to blow the Lions Dline off the ball and Lewis to have 200 yards this week?

If you'll note, we posted at exactly the same time. I guess there is some truth to the old adage that great minds think alike.

Motah, he'd probably be a LOT shorter and walk really funny from getting pounded into the turf if he had been drafted by the Lions with that lights on but nobody's home look in his eyes.

So, can we get back to Drew Brees ... If I read your post correctly you inferred that Drew Brees would have been THE Drew Brees we see today, if the Lions had drafted him?

Thu. 11/19/09 06:31 PM

Neil

So, if I understand you correctly, you contend that if Drew Brees was drafted by the Lions he would be the Drew Brees we know today.

Didn't you also say ... Bigger is Better?

Just trying to follow along here Neil.

Neil- I Googled Steve Casper, and the only thing that came up was that kid who put chalk dust in his teacher's creamer. I believe you're thinking of Steve Balboni, the baseball player. Many people confuse the two. You know, Casper/Balboni, easy mistake to make.

The point of a Blitz to have more of "Us" then they have of "They" to block "Us" They should just cut Pettigrew now then Neil. Stafford may have wound up with like 90 yards passing but at least someone would have made that block.

I can accept that I am a pompous azz, can you accept that your statement was ignorant? Do you know what ignorant means??

Answering questions with questions. Who cares if it was 2002 or yesterday?

Not picking a fight with anyone Neil. Your assertion that WCF reminds you of Harold Ballard was absurd.

Hate on the guy for his football operation and I agree. Compare him to Harold Ballard and it's a joke.

I do believe you when you say "I've never seen anything connecting him to that". Now you have.

Don't have to ... you'll do it yourself.

That's what I expect from you Neil. When cornered, change the subject.

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.

If you find a problem, please tell us, and thanks in advance for your patience as we work to improve the forums for you.
