Playoff Football Picks Week 2
Didn't fare so bad in the first round with an overall 26-6 record between D1 and D2. We did see a few surprises with Cass Tech and Romeo taking it to a couple top teams. Romeo and Ike helping prove how strong the MAC Red is. DLS and Rice adding to the argument for the Catholic Central!
This weeks picks are a little more challenging.

A few to touch on:
Rice @ Adams; Another Matchup for the Ages. I saw Harrison @ Adams earlier this year and it was a battle to hold onto the ball in that one. Wet and rainy, it didn't help me get a good bearing on how good Adams really is. I think it will compete, but in the end, Rice will prevail. I give the edge(and thats all) to Rice, 24-21.
Ike @ Dakota; Dakota Loves Rematches. I think Coach G will be prepared for what Lantzy brings to the table this week. I watched Ike @ Pontiac last week and Ike had trouble(when it wasn't raining) holding onto the ball. I have seen Dakota a couple times and its game is defense. Ike is fast, Dakota is strong, it will be a good one. But I see Dakota pulling away by two scores in this one, could be more if Ike wants to give away the ball. 21-7.
DLS @ GPN; BRAGGING RIGHTS! This game hasn't even started, and I woulda thought it started last week with all the fans looking ahead. I like the RB Watkins. GPNDad has given me most of my information, but after reading all the articles and seeing what he did against certain teams, he is the real deal. DLS's questions on defense need to be answered this week. One on offense it has is the QB position, freshman or not? Rumor has it the kid came from Shrine and has lifted this DLS team already with his presence. He will need to get it together this week to beat GPN. Could we see another infamous fake punt deciding the game? DLS 28, GPN 21.
Can't wait for it all to play out. Looking at hitting the Marysville @ Marine City game Sat night too. This is when the price of admission is worth it!
