That will leave Stevenson one dimensional
Stevenson hasnt seen a team bigger then Dakota,
Stevenson hasnt seen a team faster then Stevenson,
Stevenson hasnt seen a Qb that can actually RUN (twice has fast as Morris)
Stevenson never seen linebacker like GHOULSTON.
There is no doubt Ghoulston is better then every SHS linebacker combined.
Edaward Thomas might not be able to throw like Fracassa but he is a play maker and probably faster then every player on SHS team.

DLS has to play SField next week which is a rematch of last year's semi. Rice and DLS would not meet until the finals. Clarkston and Stevenson in the semi. You may have to travel longer than 50 miles for a Rockford and CC semi.

Hi posters, what a game at Dakota last night....Ike recovers a fumble the first time the Cugas had the ball and go in for a quick strike...Ike higher than a kite at that point....7-0....Then Dakota ties it up on a Mark Morris bomb into the end zone...a FG makes it 10-7 Ike at the half....then a strange thing happened...Ike's defense tumbled like a dynamited wall allowing 21 second half pts to the Cugas and a lopsided win for them.....the strengh of Ike's team this year has been their defense but their pass defense fell apart with 3 second half passing TDs....hard to figure....Ike fans were silent as a church mouse in the second half....Stevenson struggles a bit at the start but then ends up whacking Warrren Mott....no doubt as they move forward the loss of running back Justice Wright will hurt the Titans.....do they have still enough in the tank to win it all???? good question....Clarkston beats up on Romeo....expected but not expected I guess....word was Clark Kent had Big Ben covered like a blanket......Clarkie a little too tough this year for the Dawgs....next week Dakota goes up to Clarkie and that will be a big battle in the trenches.....more than likely Clark Kent will be favored but dont count out the Cugas....never count out the Cugas....G will have a solid plan. More to follow on that game....DLS wins again against a so-so GP North team....they might lock horns with Rice or Harrison next I think.....still dont know all the pairings....except SE at Stevenson....I will take Stevenson all the way in that game....SE has never seen a team with so many offensive weapons thrown at them....and the Titans can play defense very well too....what kind of QB and kicking game does SE have????? No doubt Fracassa is far better then their QB....
Word is SE runs 10 times in a row sometimes......game is at Stevenson...I like the Titans to win this one, maybe by a sizeable score.....who will CC get next week....I would travel 50 miles to see a CC/Rockford game....
Will there be a Stevenson/Clarkie game if they both win as expected this coming week????? The Titans will get their biggest test of the season if they do....two more wins to get to FF.......Dakota packed in the stands last night on a bitterly cold night....real cold sitting high in those stands there....Wings are showing some life lately....are they a tease or not....Pistons looks like a long season and Lions will lose tommorrow for sure in Seattle....looks like 2-14 or a 3-13 season for them....yuk!!!!

Wow they did ? That completely changes things Wright kept defenses very honest, now lineman can just pin their ears back and go .............
Defense
Yes thats true but the Eaglets had made some changes to get there defense like that maybe personnel wise or trying something new. And the four losses they did have were against top ranked teams like East Grand Rapids Highland Park, And Also Detroit Catholic Central but thats in the past now all I no is the Eaglets are on a roll. I wonder who they will face next my money is on crocket to be there next game.
Defense
If it was safe to say the best defense in the state, then they would have not lost four games. There are some great defenses out there. It is safe to say, starting with their game against Rice, then the Prep Bowl and into the playoffs the Eaglets might be playing their best football of the season.
Defense
Orchard Lakes Defenses is stacked you have UCLA Bound Earnest Thomas(#7) James Ross (#6) an ex detroit Cub. Also you have Bundrea Conway who showed me once again why he is such a great linebacker. Also You have Michael Padula (#8) who is a great linebacker who gets it done. Then in the trenches you have Marcus Gleaves (#62) who is a great pass rusher and gets sacks on the QB and is very quick off that ball in the middle you have Justin Ruby(#66) who is like a bull. Then you have another tackle Cortez Riley(#96) who is also quick off the ball and is powerful. Then the secondary is tough from Juniors Michael Koneigsnect(#23) and Corey Lucas(#4) its an interception all day for those too then you have Seniors Gary Hunter(#2) and Michael Gilliam(#10) .Its is safe to say that this defense is the best in the state.
Muskegon Catholic Central
I thought Muskegon Catholic Central had a chance to go to Ford Field right from Jump St., in spite of their 5-4 record. Yesterday was their big hurdle, if their was one. The schedule they play for a Class D team is always brutal. Similar to the old Bishop Gallagher teams.
RICE vs ADAMS
Last nights game was fun to watch but tough to give Rice a good rating. Frankie Popp (qb) and Pickens (rb) for Rice looked good, but Adams had 3 starting defensive players done for the year due to injury. 24-7 final and it could have been a much different game with those players. But, thats why its played on the field. Interesting matchup next week with Midland.
SHS vs SE
First, SE has to win today (not that I don't doubt it).
Second, SHS lost its balance when Justice Wright went down. The reason SHS has been blowing teams away is because it could run and throw. Wright will likely be out the rest of the season due to a partially torn ligament. SHS needs someone to step up if it is going to compete for the Championship.
Rice
Rice knocks off another team, unless I'm mistaken wasn't those 2 OAA teams Rice knocked off ? So I guess that means SE did play someone other then Crockett. Crockett knocked of HP and didnt HP beat OLSM and go toe to toe with Inkster ?
My 2 fav. teams battle it out next week SHS/SE, I hope that Mott game wasnt as close as it seemed if it was I hope that was a wake up call to SHS caused SE is bigger, faster and stronger then anybody they ever played. It will simply be SHS offense against SE defense. Yea SE can also throw ball they have the highest ranked QB in D1, I dont think he is better then Fracassa, or even Morris but yes he can throw and he is WAY faster then Morris.

Grosse Pointe City Champs
DLS v GPN was a much different game compared to GPS. DLS did not dominate GPS, but last night was a different story. The defense was very quick to the ball carrier. The biggest vulnerability at this point on defense seems to be the secondary as they give up the pass. Frequently, it is in the middle of the field. How about the Catholic League Central's 3 teams with 4 losses each who are now a combined 6-0. OLSM and Rice with two very impressive wins against very good teams.

Thats what happen when one team plays against good teams and the other plays a bunch of bums
Melvindale Vs Orchard Lake St. Marys
Tonight OLSM had a great game it was a big shocker to me and the rest of the melivindale community to see there cardinals go down like that. Melvindale did have some sparks but the Eaglets defense doused there flame! There Defense was lead by Sophomore James Ross(#6) who had a big one tonight! Also Senior Linebacker Bundrea Conway (#94) who had a great day sacking there QB. Also I saw great Pressure by Junior Defensive Tackle Marcus Gleaves(#62) who Made some key plays down the stretch and had a fumble recovery. The Eaglets offense was successful tonight punching the cardinal D in the face by scoring right of the back. Melvindales Speed showed why they came in 10-0 there running back #2 look liked lighting out there. If I was a betting man i would have went on Melvindales side before the game but the eaglets cleary showed other wise coming in to this game. The Eaglets will each other play Detroit Crockett or Hazel park both teams play tomorrow at 1 at Detroit Osborn. I will have a summary of that game tomorrow.

I would love to see CC vs Rockford oowwee somebody bring a medic copter to that game to big ol hard nose teams
