Leo, the issue is not that you spoke up, it's the personal feud you two seem to have been having for years. You spoke up, you made your point... what else could you say now that would make this situation better?
Ephesians 4:25-27 "Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 "In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold."
Quote Of The Day!
Romans 13:9 "For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."
Is Salvation for Real and Does It Work:
Elder, God is good... all the time! :)
Psalms 40:2-3 "He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. 3 He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord."

Yes they are Leo... I just thought you might have been the bigger of the two of you.
Faith Forum
I guess Leo chooses not to do better.

Hootie is your neighbor.
Is Salvation for Real and Does It Work:
Elder Walker said:
"For some of those things and my attitudes I had and done, I am still ashamed of my myself..."
Romans 8:1 "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death."
Psalms 103:11 "For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."
"...but not afraid to testify if it help to lead someone to choose God and Jesus Christ for their salvation."
Hebrews 6:10 "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them."
Hootie And Christian Sitting In A Tree...
Maybe Christian will do better.

"There was TOTAL silence from everyone else on the Forum."
Not today. I can tell you that I personally thought you and Hootie were friends, and were just giving each other the business... I didn't realize you both hate each other for some years-old bitterness you're both holding in.
Hootie said: "Yes I suspect it can also be used in reference to your flaccid penis or arguments as well."
Christian said: "F off and die BOOB."
Which one is right? Mirabelle.
Mirabelle said "Would Jesus require apologies? Or would he just forgive?"
Which one of you is man enough?

Who said I'm mad at you, Hootie?

Of course, that's true of any book/article, etc... why mention it here, specifically, and not elsewhere?

"It was an apparent mistake, evidence of a lack of competence."
I'm not so sure it was... it seems that would be a difficult mistake to make, and my opinion is that it was intentional... and that Jon Stewart was right to call it out. What I think the larger issue is: Why doesn't Jon Stewart apply the same scrutiny to ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, etc.? There is a far greater number of so-called news broadcasts than what shows on FOX, yet somehow only FOX is under scrutiny. Why is that?
"I would agree with you that the days of quality reporting in this country is pretty much non-existent."
On that we agree. So why isn't the same scrutiny applied to all news broadcasts, rather than only FOX?
As Bernard Goldberg says in his book Bias: A CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distort the News, when he raised the issue at CBS, and later published an article on the subject, the wheels came off the cart for him and the industry veteran was immediately seen as an outsider with an "agenda" by people who had known him and worked with him for years.

What I reject is your attempt to steer the outcome toward your predisposed conclusion, by attempting to confine my responses to a box defined by third parties of your choosing. I suggest you read the words I write, rather than respond to a stereotype you've made up in your head... it would make it a lot easier for you to understand what I've said.
"And, BTW please don't regularly write stuff I agree with -- it spoils my fun."
I don't like Windows either... I'm a Mac guy, Badger.
One-World Currency
Has anyone seen this? I thought at first it might be a fraud, but this thing's legit!

From the "United Future World Currency" website, their motto being "THE WORLD IN A COIN" here are a couple of excerpts from their "Manifesto":
"Its historical importance is even greater than its economic one; it is a goal built on faith, common hope, and the unification of cultural and spiritual roots."
"It would symbolize not only the economic, but also the human, social, political, and spiritual bonds between the Nations of different Continents that hold similar ideals."
"We are focused particularly on the active involvement of young people, especially from schools. Indeed, young people represent the strongest, most concrete vehicle for spreading this initiative. They are also the potential future beneficiaries of this large step forward towards unification and the creation of a world that responds better to the requirements of the new Millennium, as it gradually breaks down social and ideological barriers."
"This project is driven by a firm belief in the unification and co-existence of different peoples. It aims to promote an increasingly equal distribution of the planet's resources and human intellect."
There is a picture of the coin, which has already been test minted. On the back is the "Tree of Life."

This is not from some "conspiracy" website... this is the real deal! And our President is a willing participant, all smiles in the picture, and there is a photo of his personal coin with his name on it.

Missed In The Mainstream Press
Al Gore says the temperature of the core of the earth is "several million degrees." Food for thought: Would this not be front-page news if Sarah Palin had said it? Isn't this guy supposed to be an expert of some sort?

Mac, what you'd like to do is box me in with definitions from third parties of your choosing, which I've already rejected. Your attempt to direct the discussion in this manner, to attempt to lead to a conclusion you've already predetermined, is not the best way to have a two-way discussion.
"...the infinite unlimited power of your judges of Deut..."
If the judges are subjected to God, they are in fact limited by God and under His power, not their own.
"Thus should he choose to admit and convict from hearsay, that's his rightful prerogative and the accused has no recourse."
The judge was required to have 2 or 3 witnesses to make a judgment... if someone did not witness the event, the testimony would not be considered... i.e., hearsay would not be considered.
