Toyota's image under scrutiny
if you were based out of a country that does'nt practice fair trade you'd be overrated too !
Peters urges McCain to attend Detroit auto show; backs Chrysler survival
McCain is wrong !!!!!!!!!!!
Chrysler was the most profitable car company in the 1990's thats why Mercedes merged with Chrysler..Infighting killed that merger..also Chrysler repayed its first monies in record time in the 1980's!!And they say Chrysler will break evn in 2010 and make a profit the year after that..
Now this should work as it is not a merger...Chrysler up until 2006 sales were increasing, then oil prices serged and they had/have no small cars so down sales were expected plus the redesign of the Durango and Dakota proved to be a mistake as people loved the 98-04 models and not the 05-now,though they drive alot better but its looks are not as nice..plus in 2006 they stopped production of the Neon..mistake...
Chrysler's new owners turned Fiat around form disaster in 2004 to profitable now....People think Fiat only has one line ..Fiat but it is also Lancia/Ferrari/Maserati/AlfaRomeo/Iveco ect...
I've owned Toyota's ,Honda's a BMW and my 2006 Chrysler 300C is the most reliable car ever 101,000 miles and not 1 issue ever !! Not even a burnt light bulb..The powerful Hemi gets 28 mpg average city/hwy in a 4300lbs rocket !! My brother inlaw turned me and my wife on to Chrysler's,he owned minivans and trucks since the 80's and averages 120,000 miles before he trades them in and like myself has never had a major problem..I just purchased a new 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport for my self to tow my boat,my wife owns a 2007 Town&Country 25,000 trouble free miles(longest lasting most reliable minivans after 3 years tested by j.d)and I am on the waiting list for a plum crazy purple Dodge Challenger SRT-8 !!!!
McCain should go to the autoshow,I go every year ,as I am usually in town for business that time of year .
a chrysler gm ...
or gm chrysler alliance would have been better than any kind of gm venture with nissan renault

Your Typical F-ing Easterner
did mr wall street ever address the farce of international fair trade ?
Chrysler Financial, GMAC, Dealers
chrysler should have maybe not would have looked at this when they reorganized earlier this year . how can a dealer make it getting outsold by others at a possible 3 to 1 rate and staying open long hours to boot trying to pay an electric bill it cant afford ? if youre a dealer selling limited units staying open long hours with possible high inventory seems like suicide especially when youre neighbor is crushing you in sales
Ford/UAW Concessions
if we had true fair trade (which we dont) none of this fiasco would be happening so buy a car made with american capital and give those on un lovers on capital hill the shaft !
GM OKs Hummer deal
or move into a "new" bldg
