2. they probably cheated the entire world Ford did not need Federal bailout. But they did and will receive up to $11.5Billions lifeline support from Washington also. SO, Ford did take government money also.

Mulally he's gone because Ford pays him tooooo much. It does not fit in Ford mean lean structure. AND he is also a puppet like Mark Fields. Managing company is not one man's job, it is a team work. Ford injected Mazda japanese philosophy and management style. That is why took Ford to today's situation. It is not Bill Ford or Mulally's success at all.
Looking at the facts here:
1. Ford abandoned own FPS and replaced by Mazda GPDS (global Product Development System) it shrank the product development from concept to Job 1 to 24 months from 46 months.
2.Ford built its best sellers on Mazda 6 platform: edge/fusion/Milian/mustang/lincoln mkz/mks/mkx.... these vehicles earned a lot money for Ford, simply because they are already engineered by Mazda, all ford need to do is putting Ford logo on them. What a beauty. GM/Chrysler, why can't you all do this?
3. Build them in Mexico and Canada, "made in USA" go to hell. another way to boost margin.
4. Earning profit from Government and taking tax incentives from State of Mi and take government funding upto $11.5 Billions, and give it pretty name: to fund fuel saving vehicle prodram. What a shame to call it. Do you need $11.5 Billions to make fuel efficiency vehicle? Come on go on trick your 3-yrs old kids. it is lie.
5. Trim workforce before crisis come: it is a good move.
6. Dilute Ford common stock for cash. Boost Ford stock them take cash out there. Sounds like selling paper for real cash. Street calls this "bad company, but good stock." You can spend $6-7bucks to buy a share. It is pretty cheap to play stock market. Adds on media hype, it is a good stock, regardless the true value. But once GM and Chrysler backs on street, it will change. Now Ford seems as one man show at Wall Street. But for how long???? It is over-valued stock indeed.
7. Media hype: make loud noise in public. Lie repeating hundreds time will become truth. I don't believe Ford vehicles can be better than other two, since Ford shares the same supplier bases as other two. Mazda is a japanese through-away company in japan and Mazda vehicles are at bottom of JDPower Quality Survey. AND Ford vehicles are built on Mazda. So, Boys at GM and Chrysler, please don't under estimate the power to spread BS.

Words to GM and Chrysler: back to basic; keep on putting out new/attractive/good quality vehicles, you'll be back on track. Engineering is key, not line workers. Good engineer designs better product, not line-workers, hourly guys just do what Engineer told them to do.

Fusion hybrid
I am not fan of Fusion Hybrid. It is just a Japanese version of American hybrid vehicle. Looking inside the vehicle, please count how many Ford own hybrid systems in there? I think the major key hybrid system are all Japanese.

What I meant is every system has its own shining spot, pros and cons. It always swings back and forth. it is hard to be in happy medium. But now for our country, it swung to far away. Financial scams/manipulated financial storms are the root of this unstable society. And our government has never pervailed when confrontation with Bankers. Neither does for this time.
But I still believe the wealth need be controlled by our government, not small group of people. Obviously I hold the same thought as President Andrew Jackson and President Lincoln.

what a stupid statement it is. This is a typical American's statement. A lot of us never had good education in school(degree mean nothing, they did not have been tought the true philosophy.) and never step out the United States'door to see outside world.

Ford blows smoke all the time. I say that because looking at Ford balance sheet: it has 146 Billions debts, about the same level as GM. It hasn't gain any market share, currently at 13%. They try to pick up what GM left over. GM did not kill by competition, it's killed by Wall Street by not loaning working capital.
Country Rich axx think Ford is one of their member in their dirty club. So, the save Ford, that is all. Have you ever seen the NBC Saturday night episode: King. The show is so alike to the real world.
This country is not controlled by government, it is dominant by finance people, bank, large corporations and country riches. They kiss each others rear-end and protect each other. Even US President and government can not control them. But consumer can, just don't buy their products.

Few months ago, they were scrambling for money and trying to sell off the Volvo and Mazda for cash, now all sudden they are the king of the town has billions and billions money on hand. Where are these money from? Don’t tell me they use Ford Fund money, Ford Fund is charity foundation, the money is tax free money and provide Ford Motor Company and Ford family enormous tax break, bottom line, it is for charity and not for business. If they did, they are criminal.
I still don’t know where Ford’s money from? Can someone enlighten me here?

Sounds like all Ford's vehicle build on Mazda6, and putting a array of Ford names on it: fusion/milan/MKS/MKZ/Edge/Flex...Lincoln/Ford/Mercury..... ADN sell for a lot more money for the same vehicle. Does anyone know it? NO.
