The PEOPLE paying the higher oil/fuel prices are the ONES that did not reduce consumption. So, tell US something new ... rising oil prices are certain ... the only unknowns are when and how much! The unknowns are around holidays, huricane season (LOL), and when the arabs want (i.e. when their profits slide-like less consumption) where have you been living everyone knows this. And our goverment is more than happy to not do a thing about it, after all they need their kickbacks too.

fhs1-its in the cash for clunkers enrollment policy. Also look in to the fed tax policy for the year 2009. So I ask you, where did you read that the Fed was going to omit these funds or do you believe everything your told/read?
GM is the Big Clunker
Its fine to buy whatever product you want, but what americans fail to realize is that all the profits go to foriegn countries. People of the US need to understand that by buying foriegn products we are dismantling the manufacturing businesses in the US. We are be paying for this now in the forms of double digit unemployment and will continue to slide backwards into a third world economy. Our goverment has allowed foreign producers to flood our markets with EVERYTHING, its not just cars. All of the goods that were made in the US have been replaced for cheaper and less quality goods. Remember the lead in toys the fermeldihide in drywall, well all you so called Americans keep buying this garbage and you will continue to allow a foriegn market to dictate how we live. WAKE UP AMERICA!

Cash for clunkers was a waste of money, tell me this did you know that the program did not give people money for their cars. It basically adds 4500$$ to your taxable income for the year, how many people know that??

Why does this article not say that the unsecure loan from the UAW will be paid at a higher rate than the secured loan from the Ind pensions? This basically allows the gov to dictate who gets paid back. Secured loans are exactly what the say, its secures the loan to be paid back BEFORE unsecured loans. The UAW should not be paid until Chrysler's obligations to their secured creditors are met. If this does not happen we as citizens have every right to turn to our home lenders when they foreclose on our homes to say we will not pay you the amount which you desire. After all why should we when the gov has set this precedent. This will in turn make lending institutions not lend money, after we've given them billions of our tax dollars. Which brings up the next point, why would they pay the gov back these loans any ways when the gov doesn't honor secured loans why should they. Wake up america!!!

Mr. Bing grow up! Warren is trying to build their business infrastructure just as Detroit. You are not entitled to anything. GM HQ has not been in the Rencen for an eternity and owes nothing to Detroit. Since it is our tax dollars that is subsidizing this company they need to get the most for our dollars. And if this means moving from Detroit so be it.

I'm sure the other constituents from other districts accross the country are realizing now that we affect their business more than they thought. As for Mr. Conyers, I'm glad you Black Caucus members are so worried about you Black auto dealers since only Blacks own dealerships. Why don't you fight for us all??? The people of your district need to vote you out of office at the next election since you only care about your own race.
