Electric Motorcycle Race

Otto,

Just add a little water to the baloon and it gives it more of a Harley "potatoe thumping" sound. Just have to be careful about a blow out, get a little wet. I do like the "manly" color idea.

Wish I had some of those old ball cards. Being a Tiger fan I destroyed many a Yankee's card. Man that was not smart. Maris, Mantle, Berra all gone by the way of the "spoke"...OUCH!

Electric Motorcycle Race

Yes, I totally forgot about the ballons in the spokes!!! LOL!! I would definitely go that route. The balloon has more of a rumble and the baseball card more of a click. Ballons are the logical and macho choice. Just make sure you use ballons with the black and orange Harley Davidson colors so you don't look like a sissy!!! :)

Baloons also work pretty good in the spokes? I hear they will also be judging who makes the best vrooom, vrooom noises when going around the track?

Otto Krittic sez....Reedman, I agree with the sarcasm . Being a motorcycle enthusiast in my early years I have to say that an Electric Motorcycle Race does sound QUITE LAME!!! If Harley Davidson goes electric the ruff and tough biker dudes will be forced to the old clothes pin and baseball card in the spokes trick to make some noise!!

Electric Motorcycle Race

The first US race for electric motorcycles will be next year in Northern California. The Time Trial eXtreme Grand Prix will be part of Infineon Raceway's AMA Motorcycle Sonoma Showdown weekend, May 14-16. The bikes are expected to race for about 30 minutes, reaching 100 mph.

Sarcasm: Promoters will ask that spectators turn off their cellphones so the race can be heard.

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.
