Love the "Feed it plenty of rice" comment, Lemon. Wonderful comment and expected from an ignorant walking garbage can such as yourself. I do have a question. If you are so right about everything, and know all about everything, why change your name and post under a different moniker other than the one we are all so used to seeing? WHY CHANGE IT?

Barney, nope,he drives and cares for his vehicles just fine..rather than go on ,let me list what has happened with his three problem children...electrical,engine,front suspension, sensors, steering wheel, seat, and brakes. The Trailblazer went in for the oil light being on.The following weekend while we visited it came on again..three days after it was "repaired".His job takes up most of his time,so repairs are done @ the dealer,no cut rate Kmart stuff at all. He's going to give it another shot with GM,I wish him luck with the Equinox.

Root...you responded to it.."adult level conversations",you called it a "mob".Now it's vanished.

Hey root..where'd my post go??

Never saw it, was busy for awhile.

Arnold

Hey root..where'd my post go??The powers to be must also find the truth distasteful.HEY MONITOR,PLEASE SEND ME AN EM SO I KNOW WHY IT WAS PULLED.I await your reasoning.

You cannot be conversed with on an adult level, for you end up degrading people, but, also making somewhat of a fool out of yourself.

Arnold, it's a mob. That's why he got so hot and bothered over my drawing analogies between unions and organized crime. They know it's true. They've always known.

This is how unions work. That's why ACORN and the SEIU are essentially the same group of people.

It's a bad religion. Damn, I've said that a thousand times. Doesn't anyone listen?

The market is taking care of the problem. I never thought I'd see the day when Mahindra would be building trucks in this country but they are, assembling parts from kits shipped from India. Eventually, they'll be sourcing here if there's enough demand.

I saw you posts about the 4s and 6's. Never saw any name calling in remarks to you. In fact, I didn't see much of anything to solve your question either.

The only thing I remember is someone questioning your question about the strength of the under carrage if memory serves me right. How the vehicles with the 6's didn't seem to hold up under the additional weight. Again, not sure if that is 100% accurate, but that is how i remember some of the conversation.

"I hope they fired the entire(Aztec) design team".....

Arnold...

Funny how some who think they are so worldly smart can be so niave. Not even smart enough to know that GM has always religously practiced the "Peter Principle"(waaas zaaat?). It's a sure bet that when the Aztec disaster hit the fan the whole bunch were promoted.

Thanks, I was curious. I know I see a lot of people putting down vehicles they have not driven or owned. My Bro-in-law had a Pacer way back when. As far as I remember, it ran pretty good. Too hot with the glass in the summer. He had it for about 8 years. All trouble free. I remember seeing a picture of it burned. While parked somewhere, a car caught fire next to the Pacer.

Barney, the Aztek ran fine,in Jan 04 we drove it to Orlando.I have to be kinda finicky about seats with my back ,and it was comfortable.Funny part,we went to Daytona Beach, and in that area, when we'd stop for a red light, the Aztek drew more "what the hell is that thing"stares than I thought it would. At that point I started looking for 1 more Aztek on the road.Total 3.Sometimes I think GM wanted it gone.A little redesign on that butt end and it might have made it.

How did your Aztec run? Regardless of how ugly they were, I was always curious. I hope they fired the entire design department for that one. But besides the looks, I never really heard anything bad about them.

Your double standard is showing again. You said you do not disguss private matters. YET you constantly are sticking your nose into other people's private matters. If you cannot discuss your private matters or business, stay out of other people's private business too.

It just ain't your business what workers have or have not given up. It ain't your concern about their wages, benefits, pensions, union affiliation are or may be. After all, what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Ya just can't have it both way now, can you? BTW, before you use the taxpayer "card", be advised that also works both ways as many have had their pensions shifted to a federal program. Makes me, the taxpayer, a player too. But I feel it isn't my bsiness unless one makes it my business. Speaking of taxes, have you been paying your truthfully, honestly all these years? Since I am a taxpayer, I have a right to know those things. See how "blurry" that can get.

barney, sorry but I refuse to discuss private items here.I'm glad you got an education.

Rootvg has always been correct about getting yourself schooled, educated.

This is off topic, but rootvg soloed a C-172S for the first time at Concord Buchanan airport on Sunday morning. He and I shot ten landings and then he all of a sudden took over the airplane and taxied back to the FBO, not saying a word. He dug in the back seat for my logbook, affixed the necessary endorsements to make sure I was legal, shook my hand and told me to go break a leg. I was scared to death until ground control switched us to 19R (5000 ft) which said they were looking out for me. My approaches were fine and I taxied back, sort of nervous. It's still sinking in. I wasn't expecting it.

At this rate, I could be licensed by the end of the year. We'll see.
