Deagle and J.Davis

When you say someones franchise is better than someone else's franchise the only thing one can compare to is historical records . In other words , just because the Bengals currently have a better record than the Steelers .

They certainly are NOT a better franchise .

2008 Lions are better than the 2009 Rams

Hey Las Vegas guy,

When I said that the Rams are a wreck I meant as of the last few years. In the 50's,the Lions won 3 championships and were the class of the NFL,but you don't hear people talking about teams that have won in the past. I've watched every 2008 game from the Lions and watched a few games this year from the Rams and trust me,these 2009 Rams are far more horrible. They look worse than the last year's Lions who were also bad. The 2009 Rams are going to have a new owner soon, maybe a new location,a new coach,no QB or a defense and nothing to build off of,unlike the Lions who have pieces to build on and have a bright future. I've been a Lion's fan for 18 years and have not seen a championship team yet,the Rams have won Superbowls but if you ask any person who's a fan of football, they will all tell you being a Lion's fan isn't as tough as being a Rams fan.

P.S I don't smoke crack and you must be on something to suggest that I do without thinking about what you post before you post it.

J.Davis, Schoolcraft, MI

Before last season, you might've had an easier time winning this argument. But 0-16 to cap the Millen era is tough to beat.

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.

If you find a problem, please tell us, and thanks in advance for your patience as we work to improve the forums for you.
