CHICAGO -- The Wings' kids are on the ice now but the bigger kids are done for the day. The Red Wings were all saying how going outside to play hockey made them feel like they were kids again (yes, even Chris Chelios). Most of them haven't played outdoors since they were 12-14 years old but they remember it and said today reminded them of those days.
Griffin McCarty, Darren's son, said he knew that Kris Draper's son Kienan would be skating along with him and Nick Lidstrom's sons Kevin, Adam, Samuel and perhaps Lucas.
