Here's a quirk in the schedule:
The Red Wings played four times in the first 25 games against Vancouver, a Northwest Division team.
The Wings were 2-0-2. The teams don't play again.
Meanwhile, Detroit has played only three games total against its division rivals in the Central, including none against Nashville.
