Kris Draper was one of the unsung heroes in Monday night's 2-1 victory over Anaheim.
The Red Wings are at their best when they can roll four lines. Draper centered the fourth line. He played more than 14 minutes, took a team-high seven shots, delivered three hits and - get this - won 13-of-16 face-offs.
No goals, no assists, but a big-time effort from Draper.
BTW, play-by-play man Ken Kal called his 1,000th Wings game on radio.
