Ty Conklin is expected to be in goal for the Red Wings tonight against Montreal.
Conklin and Chris Osgood are likely to alternate starts until further notice.
... In the latest All-Star Game voting announced, the Wings would have four starters for the West (Marian Hossa, Pavel Datsyuk, Henrik Zetterberg and Nicklas Lidstrom) while the Canadiens would have all six for the East (Alex Kovalev, Saku Koivu, Alex Tanguay, Andrei Markov, Mike Komisarek and Carey Price).
It's hard to believe Sidney Crosby won't take over one of those Eastern spots before the voting ends January 2.
... Komisarek will miss his seventh straight game because of a shoulder injury.
... Neither team will have its enforcer in the lineup. The Wings sent Darren McCarty to the minors to make room for Darren Helm, and Montreal's Georges Laraque has a groin injury.
