Ty Conklin is expected to be in goal tonight at San Jose.
Coach Mike Babcock is sticking with his plan of playing Conklin basically every third game. Babcock hasn't hesitated to put his back-up in net in bigger games, either, even on the road.
Conklin also played last Saturday at Chicago.
The Wings are undefeated in his three starts. He has a 2.92 GAA and .903 save percentage.
Conklin was very good in his first two appearances, but not as solid in the Chicago game.
