Class clown
The crowds watching the Wings here in Traverse City are a funny group. Instead of yelling and cheering on the team, they sit very still and quiet. It's almost like we're in church. It's a very respectful silence, with polite clapping occasionally. So Chris Chelios seemed to take it on his own to crack them up a bit. When coming out for tonight's scrimmage, he had the rest of the team wait at the door. He did a lap, built up speed, and slid on his head, down the length of the ice.
