The Wings victory meant a lot to the folks back in Dan Cleary's hometown of Riverhead, a tiny town in Newfoundland in eastern Canada. Cleary, as many know, was the first NHL Stanley Cup winner from Newfoundland. He even got a call from the Provincial premier.
