They're not old

They're experienced. At least that's how the Red Wings have to spin this since some people are saying the baby Penguins have the advantage after playing three overtimes because they have younger legs.

As Kirk Maltby pointed out after the morning skate, that's why all season long the guys are in the weight room and on the bikes after games. They are in peak physical condition, especially at this time of the year, despite the bumps and bruises.

Speaking of bumps and bruises and hamstrings, Tomas Holmstrom said his leg feels better today than it did the other night, so hopefully that translates into one of his patented power-play goals in front of the net.
